'Kya Aapki MA Ne Kabhi..': Bhagyashree Responds To Viral 'Lassi' Clip From Kashi After MASSIVE Backlash
Bhagyashree

Actress Bhagyashree often shares glimpses of her travels, fitness routine, food experiences, and lifestyle with her followers on social media. Over the years, she has built a strong online presence by posting videos that promote healthy living as well as local culture. However, one of her recent videos unexpectedly became the centre of an online controversy after a short clip from it went viral.

The viral clip showed Bhagyashree enjoying a glass of lassi while seemingly promoting it on camera. Moments later, after the camera appeared to stop recording, she was seen refusing to have more of the drink, with many social media users claiming that she found it "too sweet." The edited clip quickly spread across the internet, leading to criticism from several users who accused the actress of making a fake promotion. Now, Bhagyashree has broken her silence and shared a detailed clarification through a social media post.

Addressing the controversy, she wrote, "#tuesdaytipswithb Lassi on a hot day

I had been up since 3am to do the mangala aarti, then walking down the Gangaghats in the immense heat, this lassi was just the energy booster I needed. Sprinkled with dryfuits on top I enjoyed the crunch.

Salted or sweet is a matter of choice and yes for those who are diabetic, indulgence of a sweetened lassi would not be the right choice.
Curds is rich in calcium, protein, probiotics. The sugar/gud gives energy & water hydrates.... for me it was the perfect combination in the heat of 40°.
And along with the outstanding taste it was also the love with which it was made.
There is a clip of this video going around saying its fake promotion.
Kya aap the wahan par? Kya kahin bhi uss fake clip ke dauran kisine, sunna, ya record kiya ki meine yeh kaha ki its is too sweet and that I will not have it? Kya aapke Ma ne kabhi garmi mein aapko lassi nahi pilai... fake toh aaddha video, aadhi knowledge ke saath upload karna hota hein. Local food ko promote karne se koi bhi paise nahi kamate. The only good is that local food, local vendors get support. It is a shame that idle minds have nothing nice to say even about the simplest of things. Kashi is a place of purity, how insignificant is your ran

Through her statement, Bhagyashree made it clear that the viral clip did not present the complete picture. She explained that she had started her day at 3 am for the mangala aarti and had spent hours walking through the ghats in the scorching heat. According to her, the lassi helped her regain energy after the long day, and she also highlighted its nutritional benefits while stressing that choosing between sweet and salted lassi is a matter of personal preference.

The actress also questioned the authenticity of the edited video that circulated online, stating that no one had actually heard her reject the drink or call it too sweet. She further defended her support for local vendors, saying such promotions are not done for money but to encourage local businesses. With her clarification now out, Bhagyashree has firmly responded to the trolling while standing by her original video and the message behind it.
