Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar host star studded wedding reception, Bollywood turns up in style

Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar continued their wedding celebrations with a grand reception in Mumbai, attended by family members and several well known faces from the film industry. Hosted at Taj Lands End in Bandra, the evening brought together members of the Kapoor family and close friends as the newlyweds celebrated the beginning of their married life.

Making their first public appearance after the wedding, Anshula and Rohan greeted photographers with smiles as they arrived hand in hand. Anshula chose a red Banarasi brocade sari paired with emerald jewellery for the occasion. Explaining her outfit choice, she said, "For our cocktail, I knew I wanted to wear red. It is my first evening as a married woman, celebrating this new chapter and somehow sindoori red felt like the only colour that made sense."

Rohan complemented her look in a black embellished sherwani with matching trousers. The couple spent time posing for photographs before welcoming guests into the venue.

Several members of the Kapoor family were among the first to arrive. Janhvi Kapoor wore a pastel lavender and gold sari styled with traditional temple jewellery and a sleek bun. Boney Kapoor chose a burnt orange suit instead of a conventional black outfit, while Anil Kapoor attended in a classic black bandhgala paired with an ivory pocket square.

Shanaya Kapoor opted for an embellished blouse with an ivory skirt, keeping her styling simple with minimal jewellery and soft makeup. Sanjay Kapoor arrived with his son Jahaan Kapoor. While Sanjay wore a black suit, Jahaan chose a midnight blue sherwani for the celebration.

Actor Jackie Shroff also attended the reception and stayed true to his signature style by bringing a potted plant as a gift for the newlyweds. Bobby Deol made an appearance in a black suit, while Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani attended together. Rakul wore a silver outfit paired with a purple dupatta, while Jackky opted for a pista green kurta layered with an embroidered jacket.

The reception came shortly after Anshula and Rohan's intimate wedding ceremony, where they exchanged vows in the presence of close family and friends. The couple first met through a dating app in 2022 and made their relationship public in 2023 before getting engaged last year.

With the wedding festivities now concluding, the reception served as a celebration shared with extended family, friends and colleagues from the film industry, marking another memorable chapter in Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar's journey together.
