Why does SLB's films have gloomy effect and lack of day light?

Tries to copy hollywood. Harry potter ke movies jaise bright colourful se dark hote hote deathly hallows ban gayi, waise hi slb ka choice of colours change ho gaye he (might be thinking andhera jyada dikhane se wannabe critics se zyada rating milega)

I am not a huge fan of SLB’s movies.

So no comments.

Maybe because his films are not happy stories. They are mostly sad tragedies.

hddcs didn't after that he has become very gloomy

I think he artificially recreates oil lamps wala light at night - I'm specifically talking about the dusk/night songs like KhaliBali, Ghoomar, Bint-E-Dil, Pinga, etc.

I love such cinematography and am a die hard fan of it. I can't tell you enough how much I enjoy watching high resolution videos of such songs. And on big screens it's mind blowing! Well for me, at least.

Khamoshi and HDDCS didnt had any. After that he became obsessed iwith the sets in his movies
