Lol it's continuing for 18 pages now 😲😲 Can we just assume that Arjun had a biiiiiiig heart & so he had enough space in his heart for all his wives & end the debate here? 😆

Uske 4 ke 4 wives bhi khush. humare different different opinions bhi khush 😆😆

I think @Poorabhforever has explained quite well the answers to your questions.

I want to add something. Firstly, Karna's rejection by Draupadi is not a part of all versions. But even if I consider this correct, there's something important to be noted here.

Karna was NOT invited in the Swayamvar. Yes, there is a citation with mentions him being called. (I don't recall the exact section so I am unable to quote, but I'll be glad if someone does quote it here). But Karna was part of baraati of Duryodhana as per my understanding. :P

And those who aren't invited to a Swayamvar, I don't see how they can participate.

Anyway, Draupadi never laughed at Duryodhana. This is not a part of any translation. It is a complete BR Chopra creation. Unfortunately, BRC MB has created many false conceptions about Mahabharata. People still believe them.

@bold : so true ...I was correcting my mom while watching Mahabharat ..Mumma no Aisa bhi Aisa hua tha but she was not ready to believe me ....the old generation thinks that the BRC Mahabharat is 100% correct

Just a mythology created so that worlds focus would shift from buddhism to vedanta...it was the propaganda to kill Buddhists practice and a teaching which depicts to kill ir own brothers if they are against dharma( vedas)...

You mean whole MBh was later interpolation?

Well.. at least that should end the fan wars😆.

The earliest known manuscript found on Buddhism OR Hinduism is Spitzer manuscript, the fragments of which contain parts of Mahabharata. SO the chances of entirety of it being fictional and designed to replace Buddhism is low. In fact, I'd go as far as to say some parts of Mahabharata were interpolations placed by Buddhists to make it more palatable to their followers.

Re: your statement on killing brothers if they're against dharma. What is the alternative exactly? Let evil take over?

If Mahabharata is a later interpolation then why does buddhism has two of its jatakas dedicated to sutsoma drapaudi s son. ??? Why is sutsoma called has buddha s previous birth

Vedas were very prevalent during Buddha too infact scholars believe that Buddhism is a Rebel Child of Vedas, because his teachings contradicted many societal /highly believed norms... Buddhism is very open religion even considering conversion, probably the reason why it impregnated to so many countries and sanatan dharma did not.

@B- Actually Buddha can be anyone who has attained Bodhi(wisdom), so he achieved his own "Buddha". He was a Bodhisattva meaning who continued to live after nirvana out of compassion for other living creatures. Anyone who follows the eight-fold part could become a Buddha. After achieving nirvana many people could even chose to die since there's nothing left unattained so there are chances of there being even more buddhas

After letting go of desires one escapes the birth-cycle so there's no question of Buddhas being reborn

No idea why the person feels MB never happened though

Actually jatakas talk about bhudha s previous birth or that is what i understood from it. Not sure really like this one

http://ignca.gov.in/coilnet/jatak063.htm

It says that bhudha was sutasoma - bhim drau s son in previous birth
