It’s not that. In one interview, Madhuri was asked that the current actress like PC and Deepika are no match to older heroines such as herself. That’s when Madhuri said that it’s nothing like that, she personally likes PC and even back in her day, people (as in movie goers, normal people) would say she is no match to veteran actresses. And she was right, look how Deepika and PC both did so well.

Where are lyricists of quality like sameer, javeed akthar and rahat indor from 1990s - none
Where are music composers like nadeem shravan and jatin lalit and anand milind - none
Where are singers of caliber like alka yagnik, kumar sanu, sonu nigam and udi narayan, anuradha paudwal - none only shreya ghosal and arijit remains bt without good music and lyrics what can these two do
And actors of caliber sunny deol, govinda, anil kapoor, ajay, amir, srk, akshay and salman (only three remain survive but how long another 4--5 years than?) - only ranveer singh remains holding the flag for acting caliber and better movies (Ranbir kapoor 80% movies are crap which no one shall watch even on tv)
And actress like sridevi, madhuri juhi, manisha, kajol, raveena, karishma
Instead we get very mediocre sara, ananya, tara, alia, jhanvi pushed down our throats. Neither beauty nor class nor acting ability nor personaility
All todays actors, singer, music, lyricists, directors can do is copy 1990s and 1980s story, music, lyrics etc shame where is creativity and originality
These ppl never allow outsiders and talented ones to come inside and today very few ppl chose BW as profession as they know only nepotism works
Even 2000s later group was bad kareena( over actress), shahid (i cringed watching him in padmavaat), hrithik (not a good actor only looks majorly), tiger (lesser said better).
After 2000 the quality of new comers gone very bad drastically
Ayushman is outsider ex but hes a mediocre actor very limited range cannot be super star like salman, srk
rajkumar rao same issue cannot be massy actor like salman, srk etc
Bhumi, tapsee all same problem not super star actors

Thats criteria of super star and good actor
Will PC and deepika movies be watched in 2050 and 2070 lets see
How many 1950s movies are watched or remembered now? anari, awara, shree 420, madhumati, ram aur shyam, kagaz ke phool, pyasa (many classic movies cannot list all) dilip kumar, raj kapoor and guru dutt, madhubala, meena kumari
How many 1960s are watched now? very few actually worth remembering and watching dharmendra and rajesh khanna and shammi kapoor, dilip kumar, sharmila tagore, mumtaz movies may be aradhna, mughal e azam
1970s? sholay, yadon ki baraat, amar prem, deewar etc Amitabh and dharmendras movies and rajesh khanna movies (quality of movies started going down in 70s all repetitive boring action movies). heroine roles ended in 1970s only hero mattered and recall too
But songs are immortal all three decades
1980s and 1990s onwards movie quality reduced further - story and direction wise
but music remained very good
1980s - arjun, QSQT, ek duje ke liye, naam, tridev
1990s - Maine pyar kiya, sajaan, ghayal, ghatak, dhamini, DDLJ, KKHH, Gupt, Soldier, satya, mohra, zakhm - very few worth watching again content wise
1990s saw revival of heroines dominating box office like sri, madhuri, kaol, manisha etc
After 2000s hardly any worth watching - company, black, K3G, mohobattein, devdas, padmavat, bajirao, munnabhai, mardaani, hera pheri, golmaal (in 20 years hardly few repeat value)
more male oriented again

and thanks to dubbed movies , HW and other language movies will start overtaking BW . Also Because of lockdown , people are already becoming addicted to online content .

Tbh not everyone watches those classic movies, only people from that particular gen do. Or real movie fans. It's like I still watch movies like Hum Apke Hain or K3G Ghajni etc because I grew up watching them movies. Even in Hollywood, no one watchs classics like breakfast at Tiffany's anymore. That doesn't take away from the stars.
I am not into remixes and against it maybe accept a few good ones only but why the team is angry stealing songs has been going for decades i mean even old films the songs has been lifted up from other languages english arabic malay tamil telugu malayalam chinese the list can go on so why the hullaboo they react as if it never happened
even prasoon i guess done some lyrics for remixes and even ARR have remix his own songs
vishal talks against remixes but he too sang for it...
remixes needs to stop i really miss orignal songs but these words coming out from these industry people who do it themselves creeps out
furthermore the audience a certain percentage doesn't like it but there are big percentage who likes till the big percentage likes it remixes trend will not die
