Imtiaz is no longer classified under overrated list imo 😆 the way he is being hated since 2016.

SLB is definitely the most overrated filmmaker out there.

Idk about underrated but Shimit Amin and R.Balki & Dibakar Bannerjee don't get much hype.

Also, Sujoy Ghosh hasn't made any great film beside Kahaani.

Badla was almost equally impressive, IMO. I Know it was a remake but it was brilliantly executed.

Shimit kind vanished. Balki and Dibaker made just as many stupid films as they did good films

Shimit's absence has been the biggest loss to BW in the last 10 years.

Another somewhat under-rated director is Rohan Sippy although his best 2 films (Bluffmaster and DMD) had a lot to do with Sridhar Raghavan's writing.
