Drabble 6:- Mrs Bajaj, for you!
Part 1:-
Prerna was in her office in the Kolkata branch of KBP.
'Everything is going on as we expected, Rishabh.'
' I knew it would.' her husband replied, over the call.
' How?'
' Because Prerna Sharma Bajaj was the one taking the initiative for that.'
' Ah. Yes, but she wouldn't have achieved this without someone called as Rishabh Bajaj.' replied Prerna and chuckled.
' You never fail to surprise me, Madam.'
' After all, I have learnt this skilful act from my dearest husband.'
Rishabh smiled. 'Prerna, how are our darlings?'
' The eldest is busy with her books. Following her father's footsteps. And the younger one, her Dad's Princess, as usual, is throwing tantrums. Mumma, I won't do this, I won't do that, Mumma I will eat this, I won't eat that! Her tantrums are eating me up.'
Rishabh chuckled,' Looks like I have spoilt someone.'
' Glad you admitted it. Now let's come to the point. When are you returning from US?'
' It's just two days I am here, Prerna. And already you are missing me?'
' Hawwwww... What do you mean?'
' Leave it. I think you called me not only to talk casually but tell something important other than the progress in our plans.'
' Guessed right! You never fail to amaze me. I am in office right now and just had a talk with Shoumik. He said that there are chances of profit if... '
' Walls have ears too, Prerna. We will discuss it once you reach home. I will call. I am missing my princesses.'
' Accha?... You don't miss me? '
' Always craving for my attention, huh?'
' Uff... Rishabh! Accha bye. Love you.'
' I love you too. Will talk at night.'
' Hmmm. Bye. Take care.'
' Come in, Mr. Basu. I know you are trying to hear our conversation. But for you information, we had our discussion before you came.' Prerna smirked and said.
Huffing in anger, the Basu boy came in.
' Sit, Mr. Basu . Be comfortable.' Prerna said when he came there.
' What's the matter you are annoying me and my family?'
' Oh...Just annoying? I thought I made you people bankrupt and helpless and ...'
' Enough!!! ' he said and banged his fist on the glass table. The glass broke and pierced his palm. It cut through the flesh and coloured his palm red.
' Tsk tsk. It hurts na, Anurag Basu? You asked na why I am doing this? Destroying your family and everything? The reason is I want to see you cry, get hurt, scream, beg. I am doing this for my happiness. For my relief. For fulfilling my revenge!'
' But... What did I do now? You have your child I mean your and Mr.Bajaj's daughter Sneha back, then?'
' You won't understand.'
She called a peon and told him to bring the first aid kit.
' You still love me! '
' Looks like you are in your dreamland.'
' I want you to be in a good state before you get the biggest shock of your life.' said Prerna while the peon did the dressing of Anurag.
' Didn't get what I meant na?' Prerna smirked. Her lips curved into a smile at his confused face.
She continued,' Get ready to recieve the biggest shock of your life. You have just a week in your hand. See if you can do anything.'
' Prerna...'
' It's Mrs. Bajaj for you, Mr. Basu. Mrs. Prerna Rishabh Bajaj. Got it? Now please leave. I have much work than hearing your rants.'
