And also how people are ready to blame airport authorities but hesitate to make indian govt responsible for their non-actions. They are the people responsible for making these regulations mandatory.

Definitely. It's really on an equal footing. This is what needs to be understood. The Government clearly had lapses in this case. Not once but twice. The girl landed on two separate airports within two days and government did not follow up on her. Not even when self quarantine was mandated. Huge lapse.

But you expect educated folks to keep watch too. To do what's protocol. The moment it was announced that foreign returns need to do self quarantine that should have made the girl do it. Some responsibility is expected. Certainly partying up isn't one of them.

Goverment and citizens need to work together and try to lessen each other's lapses.

Because I mentioned my family members not facing strict screening, thanks for creating a straw man argument through some random twitter person quoted by a well known IT cell member and then bringing in your father to create sympathy. I hope everyone has that much confidence to declare other people's stories as fake but want their stories to be accepted as real.

If you want to create conspiracy theories about people being mean to the govt, then the same can be done in return. I wonder how the govt found this specific tweet and then went to find footage to prove him wrong when there are so many people posting in every country posting about airport screening problems. I had even mentioned problems in the US related to that too.

And btw, my own brother is a doctor in Surat and working with 2 coronavirus patients. But yes, other people's stories are fake and only yours are true.

Any type of criticism is always used to cry about people being mean to the govt. OH nO PeOple wiLL AlwAYs HaTE this GoVt 😭

Like some FB ppl are planning to go out tomorrow to make janta curfew unsuccessful. But dude tumhe usse kya milega? There is no time for this nonsense. I will see these rule breakers and corona spreading asses as my enemy and my nations enemy. Hope these rumour mongers r put in jail

I totally agree. Even I don't blindly support the govt and one has to be critical if you want to get maximum out of your govt. But it's a trend here, people who hate the govt, they start opposing everything that the PM does or says even if it's for their own good. Nevermind, I don't want to get into that discussion again. I jumped in because I couldn't tolerate how people are spreading fake news and accusing the authorities/govt rather than acknowledging that they did something wrong and then there are people who will defend anything for the sake of defending because it suits their narrative, let's just leave it.

Lol... You just missed the whole point and why I'm not surprised. You mentioned your family members didn't go strict screening and you want people to believe that. Likewise I know of people who are getting calls from authorities (including my father) about their well being and my side of story is to generate sympathy, how convenient.

@bold I know what it did to you and I'm just😆

Nah, I didn't miss anything. You tried to bring in some twitter nonsense to declare what I said as fake because you can't handle the govt getting criticized. Then upped the ante with your father story. Almost everyone is affected in some way by this virus, not just your father. You wouldn't like people declaring your stories as fake so extend that respect to others too. If you don't like my posts, ignore them but don't play games like bringing in irrelevant twitter stuff and then crying about people being mean to the government you stan.

Hope you enjoy banging thaalis on your balcony tomorrow. Godspeed.

It's not an issue that only concerns your country but the world. Everyone is stressed out because of it so what's the need to add to it by blaming someone ?

The truth is the gvt should have taken more drastic measures to prevent the virus to spread around. They should also have led a clearer campaign and been more straight forward about what was happening and the actual implications of the sickness.

People would have taken the virus and ensuing sickness more seriously if they would have been better informed.

Because they deserve the blame and no amount of crying about bullying will change that. Point blank. The world is suffering yes but am more concerned about my home as I should be. Kanika should have been too. She f*cked up majorly and is recieving brickbats and that's that. It's simple.

@italics the whole thread is based on Sonam's tweet through which she extended her support to Kanika, ah the irony.😆

You conveniently missed the rest of my posts. I was not here to defend the govt but was talking about how people are blaming the authorities rather than acknowledging that they did make a blunder and then they get someone alike to support them.

@bold Again you CONVENIENTLY missed where I said my father is not the only one who is doing his job but it was obvious, no issues with that. That Post was not even reply to you.

@red oh, I'll. Meanwhile you can bang whatever you want to bang. Godspeed or not.👍🏼
