Looking at Italy figures , I dont get it , how is this virus spreading so fast and infecting / killing so many people ? .. It is able to break through lockdown / quarantines .. How is it managing to do that ? ..
God save the world. I am really really worried about India now. Our population is one of our biggest strengths as well as weaknesses. Only bright side is , contrary to Italy , we have a young population.

There was a news from 2007 when SARS break out happened. Clearly it warned that their exotic animal eating habit should stop otherwise it would lead to disaster.but who cares!

Italy is having a shelter in place order not a complete lockdown like China( so people are still able to get groceries on their own while in China authorities delivered it to their home ). Also, the week incubation period for the virus is also a factor ( Italy only tests for people who show symptoms unlike countries like South Korea which tests asymptotic cases ).

Although this is baffling to me the studies are saying it depends on lot of factos like age,underlying diseases, gender, smoking habit etc etc just what is completely opposite to south korea.
Also in january some Twitter handle predicted that those who has direct flight from china or Wuhan to be specific are in extreme danger like italy and iran. Also local politics came into pic ..apparently some political party wanted to restrict chinese ppl but then it would look like racism so they overruled that..a lot of this and that but the death tally is unbelievable

Who live with the old population. Young are the carriers unfortunately. They spread it to the old.

More old ppl in the country as well as smokers.
Don't believe Chinese death count. Its much higher. The makeshift quarantine facilities were for ages 18-65. Older ppl were locked inside their homes to die and never made it to Corona death count. ICU was for the younger population.
