I think the director briefed them like that. The movie was supposed to be cartoonish and all were caricatures.

Hum aapke hain kaun directed by the same gentleman, also was a kind of film that didn't took itself very seriously, and was basically a fun joy ride.

A parrot here a dog there as well

Madhuri also had many caricaturish scenes, Ott skating scenes, kiddish paapad scene even a cartoonish entire song chocolate lime juice ice cream....all of that had full potential to become as ridiculous as mpkdh, but she and and all of them made it a history...Madhuri even came across so endearing doing all that...

That's the difference between a kareena (of then) and a Madhuri Dixit.

because your thread is about worst lead actress performance, and Kareena was the lead actress of MPKDB, aab Pankaj Kapoor ko toh worst lead actress nahi bol sakte naa.

Sara's performance in LAK is definitely one of the worst in the decade but she is not a bad actress. She was decent in Kedarnath. And Ananya better than Sara? Lol kuch bhi. That video posted here, Ananya is speaking in the same freaking irritating fake accent that she speaks in real life. Ananya is beyond horrible. No life, no energy nothing on screen just like Kriti. Atleast Sara has screen presence.

The only one who takes the cake in bad acting in the history of Indian cinema is Kareena Kapoor. Take any role of hers before Chameli and she is beyond horrible.

MPKDH, Khushi, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham,Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Jeena Sirf Mere Liye, Yaadein...you name it and she is there! 😆
