Show post leap - Akshan

Honestly, I am quite enjoying Akshan post leap. Their chemistry is more magnified and palpable then it ever really has been. Are the imperfections? Yes. Many. The cast support is barely used. They need small side stories. Also pace really needs to pick up but man are Akshan scenes on fire since leap.

I also don’t really get the out cry on Guddan self respect. It’s not like she’s begging Aj to take her back. She just wants her former family to be happy. And that does not include just AJ. The bahus and Dadi are suffering too. Their happiness is tied to aJ. How can you fault Guddan for caring? She’s not a robot that she can easily just forget loving some one. She hasn’t forgotten what AJ did but to save his life she is willing to take on the pain. Once truth comes out it will affect Aj to the core.

In any case. To me chemistry is everything on a show and Akshan have it in spades post leap. I’m not watching this show to give lessons on female empowerment. If that was the case we should just stop watching most tv. To me As long as Guddans self respect is in tact and she’s isn’t begging Aj to take her back given what happened, it’s all good.

My only loss of patience is with antara and the truth. But again not the end of the world.

As for future, it should be interesting how dynamic shifts in the house. I truly am enjoying Akshan scenes lately and they’ve picked up Airtime post leap vs pre leap. Also there has been less antara on my screen, which also changed. Aj's treatment of her post leap is the best. Look he may use her to make guddan hurt but that anger and need to hurt guddan is coming out of misunderstanding not because he doesn't love her. It warms my hear to to see him rebuff antara's every touch, even as simply trying to help him up from the floor vs guddan. He accepts every touch of hers ...his hate is fake and it shows every time guddan gets close to him. He gladly accepts her closeness.

As much as I was against the leap & still somewhere I am (according to me zaroori nahi thi)

I am loving the show, Akshan, and everything on how the story is going.

Seeing every episode from preleap to post leap currently where Akshan are according to me it is justified & I can fault none of them [that's m pov after watching the episodes without palak jhapkaye]

About Guddan I don't think she or anyone can ever unlove someone. The love she has for AJ, the love he has given her its absolutely impossible to be "deleted".

Most important factor here is she knows behind what AJ did or how he behaved, it isn't that he had stopped loving her or started loving someone else. It is cause he was in a very vulnerable mental state completely incapable of thinking or using him mind at that point. Behind whatever he did there was a big misunderstanding.

Guddan is seeing his state after she left & she knows he has reached this state only cause he loves her to extreme.

According to me one can never have enough of love. Puri duniya bhar ka pyaar de do still aur chhaiye. Today Guddan has no shortage of love but whatever she has, it falls tiny in front of what she had from AJ. He loved her from when she was nothing & no one. When she craving for love & acceptance from the world. Guddan is someone who would treasure every little tiny bit of love she gets. He has a very big hand in making her what she is today. Still she closes her eyes in moment of distress & recalls his words "tumse ho payega" for that is what drives her.

Its impossible for her to erase the feelings she has for AJ, or the wanting for his love. If I think of it, get inside Guddan's head, just the thought of AJ not loving her anymore is suffocating.

Now in this stage if she says out loud her feelings, says out loud how much she is getting affected then it only makes her a very normal Homo sapien. Mind it she is only expressing her emotions & feelings, the feelings that she has every right to feel. She is not asking or demanding AJ or his love back. She is not asking him to take her as his wife.

All she is doing, taking up all the pain is to ensure AJ keeps breathing. Or else she herself would not be living too, she can never be happy with that. Somewhere she is doing it for herself too. And given a situation if Guddan had gone somewhere near death, despite all the misunderstanding & "nafraat" he has for her AJ too would have dubki lagaoed in aag ka dariya & kept swimming if it means that she will keep breathing.

About the spare whom I do not wish to take the name, Komal ji aap anjaan nahi hai ki hume iss se kitna bepanah beinteha mohabbat hai & how she is my "ankhon ka tara". Lekin there is something I want, pata nahi ye hoga ki nahi but I badly want AJ to yell "pehli fursat mein nikal !" at her even before the truth reveals. I somewhere want the truth for AJ to become a matter of dhul. CVS ye sunlo please...

[I am hating myself from saying this that iss mein waqt lag sakta hai (and lage I have no issues with this) which means I get to neharofy my "aankho ka tara" even longer, Komal ji, dil se laanatein mat dena...

But honestly I don't feel itna waqt lagega.. pata nahi dekhte hai...]

Baki Idiot box itself jiss maksat ke liye bana hai... hum ussi ke liye hi dekhte hai 😊

I love this scene....

The entire time after Guddu accidentally did katil of his jaan (we know it wasn't an accident but he doesn't na ?) he had his hands holding her till she was above him. And nope, he didn't take his hands off her even for a second. At last she herself stood up & he seems more pissed at that rather than anything else, i.e. jaan ko bhi maar dala & jaan bhi le gayi 😆

According to me this entertainment industry is just a business. There is nothing wrong or right ..The makers will show what is best sold in the market and most of the time love-hate relationship ,separations between the leads works like a magic.so the makers of the guddan are no different even they are in this business to make money only.

So for me expecting anything that they will show this or doing justification for whatever they showing doesn't have any meaning for me.

Sad but this is how entertainment industry works but nowadays happy that Bollywood is exploring out of comfort zone and giving some harsh truth Movies.

Waiting for the day when TV industry will take up this path and explore new genres as this is the media which reaches wide amount of people and will have long lasting effects on them.

Believe me though we keep saying that this shows are for entertainment but these shows effect a lot of people especially SaaS bahu dramas and I have seen many families where SaaS behaves like serial one and she has taken those traits from kokila modi( old show) 😊and bahus behave like poor abala naari🤦‍♀️

And in my family only girls who are yet to get married waiting for the boy like Suraj Rathi( old show) who will keep saying Sandhya ji🤦‍♀️but SaaS shouldn't be like bhabho😊and when expectations meet the reality it becomes tough to accept the harsh truth that " Those characters look good only onscreen only".

Anyways sorry for my rant and as for guddan is concerned I will watch for the chemistry between the leads without judging anything and anyhow me not watching also doesn't make any difference to the TRP also.

in an ideal world, tv would be a great platform, especially for itv shows which traditionally and still are sexist to show change but i don't expect it anymore. In an ideal world, i would make guddan less noble but that's not what her characterization is by the cvs. Its more so the same with most FLs in itv shows, they bare the burden of keeping everyone happy. So maybe its that i've given up expecting more from itv shows but i do love their chemistry and i still don't think guddan is as bad as many other FLs.

I'm glad bollywood is exploring and breaking norms. For example, I want to see Thaapad, because i feel its such . powerful message. Its not years of this women taking any phsyical beating it takes one accidental slap to wake her up. Also new movie coming out is going to explore same sex romance, i think that's great. ITV needs to change, that i agree with but i don't expect it to and lookign for that would just make me go insane so i'm more simple that way maybe 😆 selfishly looking at their chem.

i couldn't agree more with your take on Guddan, particularly. She would never herself be happy if anyone is suffering related to her. While Aj is more at fault than anyone, she can't stop loving him. She's not asking to be taken back, she knows its beyond that now, so much so she's even trying to keep antara part of the family. So look in the end, i wish guddan wasn't so noble, i would not be in her place but that's me but her character is selfless and this more than anything is to keep AJ breathing and healthy. She'd never forgive herself is he died from drinking.
