When Shahid started talking about how he was going to get snubbed from Awards because of the character he portrayed last year. Then whatever happened at the Screen Awards just probably amplified it even more.

Alia winning is probably the biggest wtf because the length of her role.

Even though loud and Punjabi characters but I think Kajol did deserve some of her trophies, Zoonie in Fanaa, then for her negative character in gupt and also in KKHH she was the best actor. Alia's case is outright bias, her nomination itself was unjust. There was no uproar when Alia won for Raazi because that was a legit good performance but this year it's more than ripping off the other deserving actresses.

Same with Ranveer, people were alright when he won for the SLB movies, but this year in the popular category he didn't deserve at all especially when everyone knows about the mass popularity of both Kabir Singh and War, I think this was very unfair.

Something doesn’t trend on Twitter because 4-5 complain. Yesterday there were other 50K comments from the average Bollywood audience , you can’t discount the backlash just because you read 2-3 celeb tweets.

Because nobody watched it. I said from the beginning that showing off the same 5 people in every event is exhausting and annoying. Nobody cares to see them a million times.

Forget next year. They don't even care this year. They are shamelessly showing off. Karan, Ranveer, Ananya and all of them posted multiple times with their trophies like they won the Oscars or something. They're not even embarrassed about the backlash. They know people will forget and move on.

Was SRK or Hrithik embarrassed on backlash for winning for films like Dhoom or Dil toh paagel hai

Was Yash Chopra embarrassed for winning random awards like power award.

These awards have always been like this throughout the 65 years.
