This actress was locked to play the leading role in this biggie which was announced a few months back. Everything was on track, until the filmmaker backing the project decided to change the screenplay of the film and the role apparently lost some of its charm it had in the initial drafts. On the other hand, the starting date of the film was also moved around a couple of times which didn’t make matters easier either. With all these changes the actress was approached with another film and she liked it. With no dates allotted to the first film, the actress gave her dates to this new film that she was offered. But the filmmaker came back asking for the same dates for his film but by that time things had gotten out of the actress’ hands. The actress hence left the film and another actress came in to her role now. How things change in a heartbeat in the industry!

Deepu got replaced by Shraddha.

So Deepika didn't actually leave the film because of the backlash? She left because she didn't have dates?

Must have been hard for her to have let go of a Ranbir film. I find it hard to believe.

Desperate Deepika at it again. Ab next aur kaun a line m promotion ke liye use karne ke liye. Alia ka chance aa gaya kya ?? Maybe she is nex or Katrina or Priyanka etc

Deepika got Shakun Batra movie, its a win for her. Why is this blind written as if she has lost some great movie. Luv Ranjan movies are only good with Kartik. Good riddance for DP.

For a sec I thought Alia quit SLB's Gangubai😆

Secondly is it so hard for you to admit they are planting blinds against her? Which part of that blind is positive for her so it can be labeled as “promotion” this is either Luv or RK trying to make it look like they kick her out. It’s obvious.

What’s in a Ranbir’s film? Tamasha was a colossal flop not only that their offscreen Tamasha ruined her reputation forever. She doesn’t even remember that movie exist so I doubt working with Ranbir is her top priority in life. If that was the case why she didn’t let go of Shakun for this? 😆
