The way he was smiling bits clear he meant that way only ..Vikas was very quick to caught it. He should not say that at least on his face .when people called him miss beautiful in starting episodes he felt bad so why this!!

I don’t think Asim meant in the way VG took it. But also yeah Asim should have been more careful coz sometimes these kind of jokes work between straight guys but not with Bi or gay friends.

(In an unseen from Before first finale- Sid is telling Asim how he always thought Asim is a girl and he was sisters with Arti and Sana, and Asim is saying I also thought the same about you).

Also Asim himself has been subjected to homophobia on the show, when Paras called him sissy, Miss beautiful, prettier than all the girls on the show and stuff.

also Tehseen who told him you wear an underwear and wear make up and lipstick and pout and pose.

Then Sid has literally told Asim- Tu beech ka hai, bas cream laga.

Those comments were directly homophobic just that it was addressed to a straight guy, so it’s never a big deal.

Whatever Asim did ( in my opinion wasn’t the intention) and was very indirect if at all was directed at a Bi man so it’s become such a big issue that even TOI reports it.

Direct ho ya indirect baat toh wahi hai

Lot's of similar kind of stuff was said to Asim too by Paras and at times by Shukla. Even Asim also said things along those likes at times.

In fact one of the reasons how Asim came into spotlight in the beginning episodes was when he was standing upto Paras was saying all kinds of stuff which reeked of homophobia.

Now when Asim said something very unintentionally to Gupta it became an issue because of Gupta's own preferences.

Most of the people in society are homophobes it is just that they try to conceal for the fear sounding politically wrong or they want to think of themselves as liberal minded people. We all are very careful about how we come across when we say things on public platforms.

But these people are under scrutiny 24*7 so their thoughts on sensitive stuff like this will come out whether they intended or not.

It was very clear that Asim did not intend it to make fun of Gupta.

Vishal and Paras also came across equally bad when they were mocking Gupta.

-------------

Just like sexual preferences are a personal matter and what people think of alternate sexual preferences is also a personal matter.

I don't think Asim's comments were meant to disrespect/hurt Gupta.

It was clearly intentional. Vikas was very sharp to notice it. I think this is the actual reason he nominated him.

This Ladkiyon jaise Harkatein was said by most of the people in the house at one point or other. In fact during the very first task Shukla was seen telling Asim to * Man up* take the torture task like a man in that BB hospital track.

Aloe Vera razor is used by both men and women. It is Gupta who as being overtly sensitive

IKR! Even I used to use it back in India .... it's a very Unisex thing! Gupta probably is still sensitive with his orientation, not that I fault him since it'll take many decades for India to embrace homosexuality openly! But I am with you .... Asim didn't mean it esp since he clarified right there and then and also becoz he offered same razor to others as well?!

How many are trying to blow up this incident esp competitors PR and fans more or less shows the threat Asim has become! ... Hence I am taking it positively. Asim doesn't give a lot of reasons for bashing so many have to forcibly create a controversy which isn't even there! .. Makes me happy actually that over these many months he has hardly given much fodder for bashing purposes so now many are grasping for the straws! Sad for them but happy times for Asim fans! 😉🥳

I feel people are mixing up things.

Asim did come across as a homophobe but it was unintentional and he did apologise and clarify.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion about issues like homosexuality just like people have freedom to express their own sexual preferences. It is simple my freedom ends where your's begins. It is just a give and take.

Asim realised that what he said has been taken in a wrong way and clarified immediately .The matter should end there.

The matter shouldve certainly ended but delusional hypocrites cant help themselves in continously bringing it up again and again to make him look bad in their petty jealousy and insecurity over his popularity.

Later, while talking to Sid he also used word 'Muhtarma' refering to VG. Saying he has no charm in captaincy and is a weak captain unlike Sid. Utter crap coming out of this guy Asim. From hero to zero.
