Wow, I’m shook! Where is the frggin’ freedom of speech and right to have an opinion? and as per IF rule you can’t make an attacking thread or mocking post in an answer to someone’s thread or someone’s post - oh, well, on this forum rules don’t work but only power manipulation :)
First of all, my post wasn’t in defense of any fandom but general people - people who were called stuff like “Chauvinist” and “regressive” and what not for watching a show - like, dude seriously? Since, such accusations are being hurled yet again, and this time at me, I want to ask you and that person - who gives you that right to judge a crowd for watching a show? Even that assumption was blind and stupid and made in a really hateful manner because apparently now show is doing what it didn’t in the presence of someone’s stay. Just because you’re watching stuff like “GoT” and Netflix you’re cool and progressive, right? Of course! 😱 kzk is the most watched show among all the shows in urban masses but that is highly probable that even a bigger rural mass is watching the show as well. Also, I have highlighted people from so many different criterias - read it carefully before pouncing :)
Secondly, my point was made from a psychological perspective as well - People like to read and watch stuff that resonates with their personalities or thought process - I’m an introvert so I always get fascinated with the stories of other introverts. I don’t have many real life experiences to tell and take them as examples but once I met this woman at a book seminar - I don’t know If I should tell her personal story in this not-so-necessary thread so I’ll leave it but she told me she reads certain kinda books because at least her protagonists win there unlike her real life and she sees herself in those.
I’m seriously baffled - I made an honest attempt to take a stand for the people who were being labeled with such strong tags and it actually came back to me like bouncer - yeah, bullying, bullying and some more bullying - of course, that’s how you roll. I don’t even vist this forum for this particular reason and my reaction came to a certain post. Please make more posts in cahoots with full planning and random internet scrolling. I’ve got important things to do and I’m not gonna reply further here!
