Do you realise Akki didn't named any of the three, and he just doesn't agree with the extreme measures some take with method. You're saying as if he took the names specifically. The names are taken by that tweeter user, who is basically a Akki hater account, taking names of specific actors to gain fan support.

Naseerudin Shah, also was have criticized the extremities of method acting, are we going to say he is also jealous of Aamir, Ranveer and Hrithik acting ability.

Obviously not saying Akki is even as talented as left ball of Naseer, but just an example that criticism of method acting doesn't mean, a person is jealous of method actors.

I have already replied to your post in a previous comment (and BTW, Insecurity does not equal Jealousy !! It just means he is aware he's never gonna be considered more than a limited actor with some appeal to massy circuit... and cause he gets Insecure on others that are praised he then 'acts out' towards anyone that's perceived as 'dedicated to their craft'..i.e. trying to minimalise 'acting prep' because 'acting' is not his USP)

Of course each actor can try 'get into the role' the way they want- Akki is usually playing normal day to day people- and I guess that's easier, because he sees those people around him every day..he probably is inspired by acting like his driver, his cook, his cleaner and so on...these are characters he can imitate easily and doesn't need 'prep'...good for him.

Yes, he can do his own process the way he wants- but by putting down Ranveer and HR and Aamir 's methods (or any method actor's) just shows how much it bothers him that those 3 get a lot of appreciation for their acting and are considered as good actors.. Or maybe he's just that petty in real life..yet he pretends to be this magnanimous, friendly person.

I saw this before in other awards or interviews: he's been shading everyone that takes time for prep.. many times I think he's as much of a snake as KJo... just he's showing his ''fangs'' less..

****Again, good for him that he can get hits and fool people into paying for his movies when they aren't always entertaining or have any great qualities..but a bit of humility would go a long way***

like ''Joaquin Phoenix and his role prep for Jokersays hello'', ''go tell Robert De Niro , who prepped for a month by actually being a cab driver for 'Taxi Driver ' role ''.. or about ''buying National Awards to show off you are what everyone knows you aren't''... even comments that his own example, Mission Impossible, took 160 days and there were long preps..

So yeah.. he's being mocked for showing Insecutiry on such a public platform by taking jibes at others that work to improve their craft in their own way..

Akki is showing severe insecurity. None of these method actors take dig at him completeing movies in 20 days so why so salty?

Actually if Akki took time to think over a role he would realize ki some of the movies didnt even need his role. Like mission mongol

Also people assuming he is insecure and criticizing is his statements, doesn't make him one. Akki has always have been an outspoken person, who pokes fun at people in jest.

He became an actor because someone (Govinda) said he was handsome and he could. There is no passion involved hence he will never get it. Churning movie after movie like some items off of Chinese Factory isn’t something he should boast about. It’s his thing we get it but he doesn’t have to look down and mock who earnestly and passionately do their jobs.

It pisses me off when these mediocre folks make such comments. You don’t have to appreciate but don’t be such an a**hole and don’t fcuking take Tom Cruise’s name or films as an example. 😑

Forget the names- it's his intent to put others' work down that bothered everyone commenting. Like I've mentioned, every actor that preps could feel attacked- not just those 3.

Yopu never hear actors that spend a lot of time prepping taking a swing at 'certain non actors that make movies for money and do 30 day schedule max'.

People aren;t THAT botherted about what Akki does- he has his own fandom and people he caters to - the problem is that he has to take a swipe at those that are held in higher regard for their prepping..be it WHOMEVER>

Again- he can have success and feel like he's made it, he is IT,...whatever.., but a little bit of humility and niceness would go a long way.

Sure he didn't take Aamir, Ranveer or Hrithik's names specifically but these three are people who invest time to really get under the skin of their character. They are really passionate about their characters and work. I like all three of them; I know Ranveer took months to prepare for Khilji, and Hrithik was so into Ethan Mascarenhas that he had to take a 1-2 months break to ease out of it.

They are also part of the 'set of people' Akshay was targetting and he didn't have to be such an ass about it. Fine, their prepping is different from yours. Fine, you can't relate. At least respect that they are different individuals, and do whatever the heck you want without that mocking tone
