He was just joking because he also knows being in the industry that sometimes actors are just faking it about how mentally affected they were by their characters. And it's actually better if they're just faking it to look like a serious actor. It's much better than killing yourself because of that nonsense like Heath Ledger did.

I loved Akki movies before Padman. Out of his 10 movies 7 movies used to be very entertaining..Be it nonsense comedy or deshbhakti his performances were earnest which is completely lost these days..now he is relying on one single formula. Pick up a good real life story which can make ppl sentimental , proud and nostalgic .bas..chal hatt aise movie banate hain kya!

He did it many times- on varied platforms. (and:see his Canadian citizenship thing- has been found lying too many times for people to take his 'jokes' as just that)

There was no need for such statements.

And if he 'was joking' maybe he should think how he felt when he actually sweats for one of his movies and people give it a thumbs down. He's won, he's at the top. Why not be smart in his choice of words? When he had a string of flops or others were getting more hits- did he Appreciate others calling him 'floppy? or saying he can't act? I think not- even if they 'joked'.

A bit of humility is good.

He maybe joking but when he repeatedly states the same..doesn't seem like a joke anymore.

Aamir and Hrithik at least come up with good results after doing so much hard work. Ranveer just plays different versions of himself so he deserves to be shaded.

It's weird that just because he does MI movies, he's tagged as non actors, some people don't even watch his movies and end up making comments on his acting caliber 🤣

There's also Magnolia and interview with the vampire.. Like he has a freaking sequence of movies where he proves why he's the best movie star .. MI movies are his hobby, he will do them. And it's not hurting because every movie it gets better. The last one was great, probably the best MI movie in the whole franchise.
