Totally agree. She actually proposed to him, made it very clear. He asked her to be his makaan maalkin, not his daughter's mother (even though we know that's part of it too).

And the way she said it too! There was NO hint of hesitation or that she was lying. It was with a completely non chalant, straight face. Almost as if this was an obvious fact and we're the dumb ones who couldn't understand it.
