Anshula Kapoor's wedding photos with Rohan Thakkar leave fans emotional over special tribute to her mother

Anshula Kapoor has tied the knot with longtime partner Rohan Thakkar in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family. The daughter of film producer Boney Kapoor shared the first pictures from the celebration on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the emotional moments from the special day.

For the ceremony, Anshula chose a coral and gold bridal lehenga paired with emerald and kundan jewellery, while Rohan wore an ivory and gold sherwani with a matching turban. Among the many pictures shared online, one image stood out as it showed a framed portrait of Anshula's late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, placed beside the wedding rituals. The heartfelt gesture drew attention from fans and well wishers.

Sharing the wedding photographs, Anshula posted a heartfelt caption that read, "Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And somehow, through every twist, detour, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you."

Several family members were seen participating in the wedding rituals. During the sindoor ceremony, sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor stood beside the couple as the rituals were performed. Anshula also wore personalised kaleeras, adding a meaningful touch to her bridal look.

Ahead of the wedding, Anshula had thanked Janhvi and Khushi for organising her mehendi celebrations. In her note, she wrote, "Thank you for giving me a mehendi beyond what I could have dreamed of... Thank you for giving me one of the happiest days of my life. I love you both endlessly." Earlier, Arjun Kapoor had also shared photographs from the pre wedding festivities and captioned them, "A lot of emotions, a lot of happiness…and this is just the beginning."

Anshula and Rohan's love story began in 2022 after they met through a dating app. The couple made their relationship Instagram official in March 2023 before getting engaged in October last year. Their wedding celebrations began with a Mata Ki Chowki in June and concluded with an intimate ceremony surrounded by their loved ones.
