No it’s not. The top grossing 3 Telugu films (not counting Baahubali) grossed around 200 cr worldwide in just the single language. And this is just regular Telugu movies with actors like Mahesh babu and Ram Charan. Bollywood market is of course much bigger, but a 200 cr market is not something to sniff at. A potentially bigger market means a true pan Indian star can afford to make bigger scale movies. The tough part of course is to find a universally appealing subject. I think period films or historical films work better across the board but contemporary movies are much tougher. Because trying to appeal to everybody could result in a khichidi no one likes.
Lol at the Beyoncé and Taylor Swift gigs posted here 🤣.

Most of Amitabh Bachchan's films had him wearing a Suit Boot. Wat was so "Indian" about Kabir Singh or Saaho? One had full of premarital sex and other had songs like Baby, be my Bad girl or some trashy lyrics 😆
If BW is going down, it is mostly bcoz they started remaking these OTT tacky humor filled South masala films like Rowdy Rathore, Wanted, R Rajkumar, etc.
Amitabh wore suits in 70s when heroes used to be lecturers/professors/poets.
In 80s angry young man era (like Laavaris), his character aligned with low income group. But they were mainstream movies with super hit songs.
I have not seen Kabir Singh. Had plans to see Saaho. But changed after seeing tired expression of Prabhas in a song. As a South Indian viewer, what attracts me to the native movies are the punching dialogues used in local dialect. There are no equivalents to that in Bollywood movies. They either use English (KJo movies), thereby loosing nativity, or they use Haryani dialect (for rural setting) which is not understandable for most Indians.
Can be the first true pan India BW film doing what Baahubali did in the Hindi market but in the Southern states....
Surbhi Jyoti is pregnant She came in a Bollywood movie Kya meri Sonam Gupta bewafa hai. Sumit came in many movies including 14 phere and babloo...
