Yeah she hasn’t given him any solid reason to trust him but at the same time she hasn’t given him any reason to mistrust him either.
He’s impressed by the way she has conducted herself..never gone out of her way to impress him..carried herself with lot of dignity and self respect..her no nonsense and fearless attitude with him..they’ve spent close to four and half months together and she’s never tried to misuse his money power and stature...and to protect her sister and the reputation of both the families, she without thinking offered to marry a gangster..she’s too heartbroken but the way she deals with it impresses him..and he trusts that one day she will share her past with him..he’s willing to wait for that day..then in her own way she has helped him to come out of his pain.

She is wonderful as a person, and she carried herself with great dignity indeed, that he can't imagine she could be wrong anyday. He trusts her as a human being. Like you said recently, how a reader trusts its writer, he trusts her tat she is a wonderful human being, and she would never be wrong, but this trust, you have mentioned, is something different.
She revealing her past to him or not, is not gonna change her as a person, but here, he trusts her as a wife, who would not hide her past from her husband. He trusts, one day, as a wife, she would feel the responsibility of sharing her past with him. I was amazed at that. He is already enjoying the warmth a wife gives to her husband in Ishita, not just that but he started to trust her as his wife even 😍
He is literally not day dreaming, that one day, they would love each other, make babies together, but mentally, she has already become his wife. The possessive attitude has already bloomed in him. He never clearly made a decision to work on his relationship with Ishita, but all of a sudden it just struck to him that he trusts her she would share her past with him one day!!
