Wow! So many replies since I logged out. 😆
So, I am not quoting anyone, just replying in general.
I did predict this earlier that this might be the ultimate twist that Pia goes against her mother. And personally I think Pia's situation is worse than Ansh.
Ved is an amazing mother for Ansh no doubt. In fact up to an certain extent, I could understand her selfishness too. But I also find her and Ansh's relationship toxic. At the beginning, they had emphasized a lot on how Ansh felt guilty as Ved had never conceived for him and Kajjal. Ansh worships her and overlooks her idiocy but he always emphasizes on Ved's love.
On the contrary, Pia had always been proud of her mother. She in fact had a short course in How To Become A Reevavanshi if we consider the FBs. She never felt indebted to her mother or was in constant guilt like Ansh that at the end of the day her own problems would take a backseat and she will keep pondering over her mother's love. She was a normal kid, who have grown up watching how her mother wouldn't hurt a fly and now that same mother has practically endangered her whole family - bot Sharmas and Gathods. As Pia herself said, Aaj Aapne Mera Gurur Tod Dia! So from a psychological point of view, Pia's hurt is thousand times more serious than Ansh.
But unfortunately, even family dramas hardly concentrate on portraying these aspects. So how much we are gonna get from a supernatural show, that is questionable. But they could show it.
As for Adi, I agree with Nikki. Too much of anything is bad. Adi beeing PiAnsh's son and conceived after Pia was revived using Trinetramani would most definitely be the most powerful being. But the makers emphasized too much on him which made it boring.
For the last couple of months, I would say the makers are on the right track as PiAnsh have been in focus and Adi uses his powers less frequently. So it's tolerable now. I am okay with him using his power every now and then but I actually enjoyed how PiAnsh had a hard time during his daycare-days. These subplots actually bring the much needed realism in the show as a couple is shown dealing with these. I loved how Pia juggled with her study and any scene with the three brings smile on my face when I am completely down. 😳
Lastly, I don't see any reason for Ansh to be in the evil side. I would be dancing if they brought Dola back. I loved her, specially her Aha!!! But Ansh has never been evil. He has always fought against it. And a guy who was ready to sacrifice himself for his brother thinking about the injustice he had faced, he would never really side with evil because he is half Dayanvanshi. For me that would rather looked forced.
As I had said earlier too, this time I have more expectation from Pia. She is getting one blow after another and that too from the person she trusted most. It's about time she loses it and does Tandav again. That would be amazing. I would love to watch Ansh pacifying her and bringing her back to her senses before she unleashes her wrath on everyone. I know she isn't a Demigod but she still is a Daivik who can control all natural elements. Her spiraling into darkness for a brief moment would be awesome.
