Neither am I, to be honest! Guddan had always been bit hatke from other shows but then ye bhi apni indian serial ki story line pr aa hi gaye!🤔15 saal baad back from the dead (or coma) is so cliche! But i have faith in akshat's character. I m sure he'll show some spine!

I have less hope for Akshat's character bcoz in ITV only Reuse, Rinse, Repeat formula works.

Rather than working on fixing the trp they always try to fix the story, & this is the point where daily soaps takes the path of

Ok-ish---> Bad---> Worse---> Worst

Good contents are always vanished bcoz of trp pressure/race.

Just hoping they better end this track where their actions are justified to some extent if not completely & they don't do much damage to any of the character's portrayal.

Part 2

A week had passed since Guddan left the mansion, after Vikram. Akshat had spent one exhausting week pondering whether she was even going to return or not. Finally, exasperated he had decided to talk it out withher face to face, she could have forgotten him due to Vikram but his memory was still working.

Sighing for the umpteenth time, Akshat finally allowed his forefinger to push the button down as the sound of door bell ringing was heard and soon Revati opened the door.

“Jiju…aap…”Revati trailed troubled as Akshat forced a smile in her direction, “Why are you so surprised? Am I not allowed to come over anymore?!”

“Nhi! Why are you talking like this? This is also your house…” And with that Revati moved aside as Akshat stepped past her, into the foyer.

His eyes glided across the living room searching for the one face he had been reminiscing, only to be interrupted by Bhushan’s voice.

“Damad ji, aap…yaha?”Bhushan asked, his face a mix of surprise and dilemma.

“Should I have not come Papa?” Akshat asked, his voice small.

“Aisa nhi hai!”Bhushan protested as he caught Akshat’s palm, “You are most welcome in this house. It’s just that I don’t want you to get hurt. You are like my son…” Bhushan finished patting Akshat’s head as he smiled and looked up to see Revati race past the sofa into Guddan’s room.

“Bhaiyya! We have your favourite khe….”

“Shaitaan kahinki!”

Akshat could hear Revati and Vikram bickering as Guddan’s melodic laughter gave their fight a homely feeling of love.

“Vikram wasn’t just Guddan’s husband but a brother who doted on Revati a lot. For Kaushalya, she was the son she never had. Since he was an orphan, he insisted us to live with him and Guddan because we were his only family. He is….” Bhushan trailed,trying to console Akshat.

“It’s Ok Papa. You don’t have to feel bad about me”, Akshat smiled and clearing his throat addressed him, “Maa wanted me to invite you all for breakfast tomorrow and side by side decide an auspicious date for Revati and Angad’s marriage”.

“We’ll definitely come, Damad ji”.

Akshat nodded as he found his eyes looking at Guddan’s room’s door.

“Why are you hesitating?” Bhushan asked as he signaled Akshat to go inside.

“I’ll just…see her…I won’t…” Akshat stammered as Bhushan smiled and Akshat proceeded towards the room.

However as he peaked inside the room, his eyes widened in shock as he saw Vikram whirl Guddan around and into his arms. Tucking her hair behind his ears, his lips inched closer to hers and Akshat turned his head away from the scene, his eyes clenched shut. Unable to stand that heart shattering feeling anymore, he left from the scene.

A deadly silence enveloped the people sitting for breakfast as Vikram served Guddan personally and she just smiled. Akshat swallowed down on his ache as felt like a stranger with his own wife. He hadn’t expected for Vikram to show up too. Was it too much to ask for a simple breakfast with his wife after a week’s separation?! And Guddan! She didn’t really mind considering the jovial manner in which she was conversing with Vikram, while his heart was bleeding! And who did that mangalsutra and sindoor belong to?! Him or Vikram?

Unconsciously, his fingers turned to fists as Vikram forwarded a morsel in Guddan’s direction. At that very moment Guddan’s eyes met his and he turned his face away feeling cheated.

“Not now, Vikram..”Guddan turned down Vikram softly while her eyes were fixed on Akshat who was scowling his eyes away.

“Let me introduce you to the people here first”, Guddan stood up, pushing back her chair.

“I was actually waiting for the introductions. I’d also like to know our chutki’s to-be-family in a better manner!” Vikram beamed as Guddan nodded and moving around the table, approached Dadi.

“This is Dadi, Chutki’s to be mother-in-law”, Dadi smiled awkwardly as Vikram smiled at her. In succession Guddan went onto introduce Angad, Durga, Lakshmi andSaraswati as Kishore, Vardaan and Rahul’s wife.

“Are they Angad Ji’s brothers/ sister-in-laws?” Vikram asked pointing to the trio.

At his question, everyone got uncomfortable while Guddan just smiled, “Abhi batate hain…”.Saying so, she moved across the table and approached Akshat sitting at head’s seat. He looked up into her eyes, confused.

“And this is the most important member of Jindal family, Mr. Akshat Jindal”.

“Angad Ji’s elder brother na?” Vikram confirmed as Guddan nodded, “Not only that, he is Kishore, Vardaan and Rahul’s father and..”

Akshat stared at Guddan bewildered as she smiled back and cupped his fisted right hand with her left,“ and MY HUSBAND!”

Every member of Jindal family smiled in relief as Guddan introduced Akshat as her husband while Akshat had his eyes glued to her ring finger. The engagement ring was right there where it should be! Unknown to Akshat, even though ring had slipped between his fingers due to shock, the thread hadn’t allowed it to fall down and had lead the ring straight to its destination on Guddan’s finger.

“What?!” Vikram left his seat, baffled.

“Haan, Akshat Ji is my husband and these are my bahus…” Guddan pointed to the trio and then looked at Dadi, “She is my lovely saas and Angad ji is my devar”.

“What are you saying,Guddan?! Do you mean that this sindoor and mangalsutra….” Vikram asked shaking Guddan by her shoulder as she nodded, “Akshat Ji ke naam ke hain”

Akshat’s temper flared up as he saw Vikram manhandle her and he was about to leave his seat when Guddan pressed down on his hand and nodded her head in negative.

“Let me explain,Vikram” and with that Guddan went onto explain how exactly she and Akshat had tied knot and the reasons for keeping the marriage.

Vikram sighed in relief as her story ended. “You were both duped by Parv and I can understand your concerns regarding your family. It’s not a problem at all..”Vikram looked at Guddan in understanding.

“The solution is really simple. You guys should just continue with the divorce procedure you had halted 8 months back. Even though, there is no need for divorce since my mere presence invalidates your marriage but nonetheless, just for my own assurance and your too, you should separate legally”, Vikram suggested calmly.

But his calm suggestion had everyone jumping to their feet out of sheer disbelief.

“I agree Vikram. Divorce toh hoga”, Guddan proceeded to fetch her purse from the sofa and taking out a stamped paper, slammed it on the dining table in front of Vikram.

Akshat’s heart sank. Was she here to end their relationship? Was this how his love was going to end? One sided! Not confessed! Incomplete?!
