I don't think it has anything to do with age. It's all random. They retired the Khans a long time ago because they kept winning and nobody else was getting a chance. They specifically said they're removing their names because they dominate and it's time to give it to others.

This year they retired Mahesh Babu from the south. He's 43. Arjun Rampal is 46.

I don't know why people take any of these lists seriously, whether ormax or anything else. They are all random and stupid and based on personal preferences of the people who make them. Maybe some PR money is going in too.
