It’s a Kjo movie with kathakni Alia Bhatt. So it’s obvious she is playing both Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh.

The real toss up is between ratio of nostril flare to ostrich neck.

Both Vicky and Ranveer need to get with the program— they are just guest appearances.

So, 'Takht' has a tremendous potential because of its story. It's about the rise of the most draconian and orthodox Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. I'm only interested in this project because Vicky Kaushal will play Aurangzeb which, I hope, will be a more nuanced and reserved antagonist than Ranveer Singh's cringeworthy and hammy Alauddin Khalji in Padmaavat.

I just don't see KJO doing justice to it. We will probably get a SLB copy-paste version with Manish Malhotra's bridal collection for "costumes". Topped with a couple of item numbers for good measures and soap opera levels of saccharine (KJO's hallmark).


PS - I detest KJO, but my god I need his emerald-green coat!

Kjo shud shelf this project. He is a mediocre director even in the Romcoms he specializes and this is Bhansali's forte. Dont even try.

# Script changes.. Vicky - newly paired with Aloo and blinds , hype etc.. the rest of the cast sidelined. RS should have never trusted KJo. Kareena doesn't rlly care. Jhanvi's glad she has a part in a big budget. Bhumi is same- she'll be like Sonakshi in Kalank..barely there..

No. That is not a change. During GB promo interview with Anupama RS let it slip that he and Aloo are not paired up in Takt. The AlooVeer pairing was never there from the begining.
