So I'm finally caught up with all episodes 😎 This post is for the one topic which is bothering me. I had earlier given Ruhaan the benefit of doubt that at first he was just attracted to mishti and after living with her and learning about her he developed feelings. But in the current epis he said sorry Veer when I fell in love with Mishti I didn't know she was your fiance. What even!? So he fell in love with a random girl whose hair he pulled and who kissed his cheek for a dare??? How does this work? What did he know about Mishti's personality, her thoughts, feelings, qualities then? Are chance encounters with strangers and attractive looks enough to fall in love? For me its not enough even to develop a small crush. IDK if the writers are really this shallow or are showing this deliberately. I won't buy the argument that he fell for her deeper later as he was giving heart broken expression in Mishti's engagement too when he barely knew her. Is this how people for in love? So easy, so fickle? For me its necessary to know the person in and out - their qualities - kindness, honesty, integrity, their dark side, their behaviour, why and for what they smile, their likes and dislikes, their feelings, their opinions, hell even their political views. Also most important - their has to be a good friendship and mutual understanding. Without a single one of this how can a person fall in love!? I still can't judge at what point Mishti fell for ruhaan so won't comment on that. But I do want to know what are the writers smoking? I want some of that.
Dear naturegirl,of course we didn't get to see scenes where Mishaan are emotionally connected. But ,somehow they are able to emotionally understand each other. Though I did expect to see scenes like Mishti sharing things she experienced from her childhood, ruhaan sharing his orphan side, still without sharing these things, there's some sort of emotional connect between them. Like for example, Pari and Arnav have an emotional bonding, and Pari and Ruhaan have an emotional bonding, still Mishaan understand each other much more than them. It doesn't mean others are wrong, or Mishaan is right. In one way, everyone is both right and wrong. So, I thought I'll not question their love.
But, dont fall for their dialogues dear. They mislead us with dialogues. One day, they give and they contradict it very much soon. For example, pari initially said her mumma was right, but later they gave her dialogues like my mum was wrong. In another instance, Mishti said she likes things to be perfect ,but sometimes she's shown to be imperfect. And, pari, how an innocent and lively girl is turned into some Mishti and ruhaan bhakth sort of. There are lot of inconsistencies in scenes and dialogues dear, or atleast I feel like that . Either they rush up too fast or dragging sometimes.
P. S. : I remember once I told not to include Pari's appraisal in Mishti bashing post once dear. even i didn't intend to violate myself. I just compared the dialogues and inconsistencies dear. No offence .Pari and Mishti are equally imperfect according to me, and neither have I bashed or praised either of the two here dear. Was just ranting about how inconsistencies have become the usual business in this serial.

Omg this thread! Good to see such a healthy discourse, but both parties must agree to disagree. 😅
Me too glad to see a mature debate for once 😂 I didn't expect it to blow up tho, I just penned down what I felt

Hey 🤗 If you are going to be so polite and sweet, I will miss the point 😂♥ Anyway.. U r right. There are a lot of inconsistencies in the characters and writing right from the start. But I feel there is no other way to know about a person's feelings than monologues.. There is only so much u can learn from expressions. And this was a crucial dialogue about when Ruhaan started loving Mishti. And they made it like this. Hence I had to make this post. No offence taken. Thanks for sharing ur views ♥
