Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan attended the funeral of veteran actor Satish Shah in Mumbai on Sunday afternoon. The moment she stepped out after paying her respects, the paparazzi surrounded her with cameras flashing. Clearly upset, Farah couldn’t hold back her frustration and was heard saying in a low but firm voice, “Bas yahi karo tumlog… poora time yehi karo” (“Keep doing this only... spend all your time doing just this”).

Her reaction quickly spread across social media, with many users agreeing that moments of grief should be respected and not turned into viral clips. Farah, visibly emotional, left the venue after speaking briefly with filmmaker Ashoke Pandit.

Jackie Shroff, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ali Asgar, Tiku Talsania, Dilip Joshi, and Poonam Dhillon were among the many from the industry who paid their last respects.

Satish Shah, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 74 due to a kidney ailment, left behind a legacy that few can match. Known for his effortless comic timing and endearing screen presence, he became a household name through classics like Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Main Hoon Na, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and countless other memorable roles.

Colleagues and friends remembered him not only for his wit but also for his kindness and professionalism. He is survived by his wife, designer Madhu Shah.
