Since his resurgence with "Aashram," Bobby Deol has consistently captivated audiences with his performances. His recent role in Aryan Khan's "The Ba***ds of Bollywood" has garnered him further acclaim. Marking three decades in the industry, Bobby reflects on his personal evolution, the impact of sobriety, and the equilibrium he's achieved in his life.

Bobby Deol reveals a significant decision of his life

Bobby revealed to Bombay Times that he has completely abstained from alcohol, a decision that has significantly improved his life. "Yes, I have, and it has really helped me. Everyone is genetically different, and no one realises how any kind of intoxication can affect you. And some people have those genes where you get addicted to things," he explained.

Calling this change a deeply personal decision, the actor added, "You don't get these kinds of chances in life. The voice has to come from within. I think I'm a better person after I stopped drinking, and I think my relationship has become a hundred times better with everyone I know."

Bobby Deol on Aryan Khan

Bobby commended Aryan Khan, the director of "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," highlighting Aryan's talent, focus, and discipline as a filmmaker. "It was like my own son telling me, 'I want this, I want you to do it this way? If The Ba*ds of Bollywood is what it is, it's because of Aryan. He's proved it to the world," Bobby said.

Furthermore, the actor admired Aryan's courage in forging his own path, independent of his superstar father, Shah Rukh Khan. "With the pressure he was under, to have the guts to step out and have his own voice as a director — hats off to him. I feel so proud of him!" he concluded.

Following his success in "Animal" and "The Ba***ds of Bollywood," Bobby is set to star in "Animal Park," directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. As he continues to grow, fans are excited to see what the future holds for him.
