Daniel Radcliffe wants two of his bodyguards to watch over his beloved dogs.

After receiving a death threat, the 'Harry Potter' star was assigned a security team of ex-SAS soldiers. Radcliffe now wants the specially-trained guards to walk his two Border Collies because he is petrified they will be kidnapped and killed by a crazed stalker.

The 18-year-old star originally demanded 15 bodyguards, but he assigned four, all of whom are former members of the elite British army force, the Special Air Service.
Radcliffe's management reportedly responded to his initial request saying, "You're Harry Potter not J.Lo."

Radcliffe is currently shooting 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' in production with movie studio Warner Bros. The actor feared for his life after a fan, believed to be in his 20s, showed up at his home and several of his favorite West London restaurants.

The alleged stalker's threat - which was received by the movie studio, has been taken seriously. On Saturday evening, the actor switched cars three times as he went to and from the film set.

Radcliffe's regular driver for seven years has been temporarily replaced.

It seems that four ex-SAS officers are not enough for Harry Potter star and stalker target Daniel Radcliffe, for the actor has asked for an additional two-man SAS team, and that too not for himself, but his two pet pooches.

The teenaged actor has requested for two SAS officers to walk his dogs, reports The Sun.

Radcliffe, who has been receiving death threats from the stalker, fears that his beloved pets Binka and Nugget will be kidnapped and killed.

The actor also asked for a total number of 15 SAS men to guard him.

However, he was assigned only four ex-SAS officers by his management who told him: Youre Harry Potter, not J-Lo!

Insiders say that the nature and details of the threat, received through Warner Bros, is unclear.

However, a security source revealed that bosses are taking the threat seriously and ordered Radcliffes protection at all times on set and to and from shoots.

There is a real concern for Daniels welfare. The bigwigs havent said what has been going on. Its all hush-hush but security has been massively ramped up, the source said.

The actor has also been provided with a chase car which follows the vehicle in which he is travelling in case of emergency.
