How do you know a show is a hit or a flop on Netfix or Prime? Streaming medias aren't tranparent, and BW celebs will exploit the situation by charging 50X more than a non BW actor whose show is actually getting audience.

Netflix spent over $12 billion to get exclusive content in 2018. In 2019 they are expected to spend $15 billion. Bollywood stars have been slow to make the move. There is a lot of money to be earned.

The owners know since they have the information about views and subscription. They just don't release data. They are not fool to pay unreasonable amount.

OT: Wasn't Kareena supposed to do something with Netflix? Like Poo?

I'm not talking about the owners. the owners will get more subscribers showing these BW A listers, I'm talking about the small timer... They are not gonna get paid as much as the stars eventhough their show is a hit. Stars will spend on PR and create an image, but non stars dont have that luxury. Iss hisab se YT achcha hai... People like Bhuvan Bum are making more from YT than Shilpa Shetty does.
