Kangana and Sonam's non-existent star power

10 years in the industry and still can't deliver on the stardom part. Manikarnaka and ELKDTAL are decent movies, but both have failed at the box-office. Why do people consider them A-listers when they can't bring audiences to theatres? Compare them to Deepika, who is eons ahead and it's surprising that these 2 actresses, one a great actress and one a great looker, literally has such a small fan following.

manikarnika holds the record of single highest day for a female led movie- 18.5 cr..as much as I hate kangana..she did pretty well here..also top 3 women led films are TWMR..Raazi and Manikarnika..so she has 2 out of those 3 spots..she is doing quite well

PS- I liked both of their acting in these 2 recent movies, but was shocked at the half-empty theatres...I was hoping for a better response.

Kangana has decent starpower.And the figures of Manikarnika are decent.

sonam though..never had any pull..now i can understand why almost all sites credited veere's opening to kareena mostly..

and we cannot compare them to deepika who does not even have a single movie where she led it alone on her name..first let her attempt one to be compared..that way sonam also has prem ratan..

fact remains..those were not solo led movies..so let her come with one first..i am sure she will do well..but till then these are all talks in air..

also she re-established with cocktail..saif was doing decently well that time..you think she contributed to cocktail's opening coming from disasters like desi boys..break ke baad..khelein hum je jaan se..aarakshan..kartik calling kartik..she had 5 consecutive flops..how can she be credited for cocktail in terms of numbers or opening?
