In My opinion, There is not only anika and shivaay are missing, Omru too, the affection shivay had for his family was so great, i am also a big fun of shivika, i am missing them too,

We do have lots of great memories with old cast "Omkara", "Rudi" Ghauri and Bhavya, Shivaay mom, Shivaay, Annika and Saahil ...

Here new story we have to accept Shivaay and Shivaansh are different (Father and son) and they do have some similarity and also that's means Anika is Shivaansh mother,

With actual storyline, we can't bring Anika (surbhi) to make pair with Shivaansh, doesn't make sense, i'am really not ready to see anika playing mother caracter,

We can't forgot old cast, but we can give a chance to new cast and watch this show as New show,

Let's hope best of all,

I am waiting to see the old cast with there own New project as soon as possible, I am waiting for their comeback👍🏼

That was possible if there was a new and fresh story. But here everything is copy and paste with new cast.

i watched few weeks after the leap . where is the story? how is shivaansh different from shivaay hmm by wearing weird jackets ,tilting his head ,changing walking style .other than that i didn't see anything intresting nor different from shivaay .there is nothing intresting about mannat character all the time her role is to cry cry cry .why would anyone want to watch a show with zero characterisation ,zero story ,bad acting ? .both leads look like niece and uncle

I don't see any reason to give them any chance. Esp after makes did to our beloved show.

Not channel nor the CVS deserves any more chances. They had it and failed to give anything that is worth holding audience's attention.

Better it goes offair and give some other good show with CREATIVE makers the 10pm slot.

I tried to give my best to watch and am watching it regularly. It's been 2 months and still the new characters have not endeared to me. The script is poor,production shoddy,characters weak and acting subpar. Still I am giving it a shot.😃

The ppl who are still complaining are not there because SC was mistreated and all. What happened was wrong but that's done and many of us have moved on. We tried DIB and it's hard to believe that it's the same PH, same NM.

Actually after watching DIB, I have realized how well SC used to balance scenes with NM and Asthi I believe pointed out in the other thread that our makers (and even audience like me) used to think that it was NM covering up for that useless script but we were all wrong. It was both Surbhi & Nakuul who were able to rise above the script. So NM has to come out of this illusion that he is the king of the romance because without SC he is not being able to add much to the scenes and it's a pain to watch his solo scenes as well as with the rest of the cast.

FYI: I have always been a NM (not Shivaay) fan and I see myself very loyal to him but my concept of loyalty is different.

Poor dialogue delivery, his sudden movements, unsynchronized dialogues and body language and the most important thing, a very poorly written character with no attention to detail, horrible clothing define Shivaansh these days. So here NM is not being able to cover up for the deficiencies in script & all.

After watching DIB, I can say old IB supporting cast was Gold. OBros scenes from Day 1 had so much charm & depth. There was a chemistry right from first day and more than Shivika, I used to like Obros, Pinki & Tej.

All said and done, NM made Shivaay comparable to Darcy (Colin Firth, Pride & Prejudice 1995 version) and that is a life time achievement. As an artist, he has proved his mettle & no controversy or failure of DIB can take that away from him.
