Yes Jas. UT_ A came in. She got hers. She's waiting to hear from a couple more. Two more months to the end of this waiting game. Safe schools done... now let's wait for the match ones. May the best come to your daughter. Hubs is majorly ok . Few more weeks of therapy to go...but his elbow is on its way to being good. Thanks Jas. I miss the chatter as well. An update here in this fictional space somehow has a magical effect as if bringing a balance to my day in my real world .

Monsoons came early, it was pouring that Friday morning, her car waded through wheel deep water to get to work. She had reservations to go to Bangalore for a week on her mother's insistence

She was coaxing Bik's friends to go with her as she didn't want to go alone to her apartment to get some things

She was tired of living at Mitras she wanted out, and she had to go get her things

She had, or her parents had rented out one BHK and locked up a bunch of things in one bedroom

They pranked Gauri that morning Sameer and her, Rohan found out and was livid

"A FOG HORN and quiet? "Really? "I don't even know if there is any use to reporting you guys to HR

They had hooked up a foghorn to Gauri's chair under her seat, by the lever that helped lower or raise the chair

, since she always adjusted it lower than usual the minute she sat down, sending the most loud blaring honk across the building

She worked on the Golf Links motel almost the whole entire day

Towards the end of the day

She didn't get a response

She parked at the Hauz Khas Metro station and took a Metro to Jor Bagh and harried with an auto for 20 minutes in the downpour to his house

When she arrived she was drenched and her teeth was chattering

He had gone out to run at Lodhi Garden and was taking a shower

Toast went crazy when he saw her at the gate, the guard looked shocked at her state.

He had been told, or must have been told she realized when he let her in without acting like she was some alien with a ugly green unicorn on her head

Her green tussar sleeveless kurta was shimmering wet, and the yellow vine patterned palazzo stuck to her legs

Avyaan finished up early worried something was going on and wrapped a towel around his waist grabbed another one to dry off his hair and walked over to the living room window's privacy glass. She couldn't see them

Seeing her walk in through the heavy teak plank framed gates his hand froze on his hair and the towel dropped

He walked in swiftly and grabbed a tee and slipped into his shorts

As expected the doorbell rang

She stood like a vision, exquisite, soaked!

"Hi.. um. Samidha

"I am so wet she shook her head spraying water

Toast barked danced and circled her as she froze in fear

"Inside!!! he ordered the dog

"I will just go she mumbled trying to style her clumpy wet hair

"Samidha... please he said politely, throwing the robe on the back of the sofa

He went to the kitchen

The dog and her had a staring match

She leaned to pick up

He barked

She screamed

"Come here right now he ordered the dog from far away

"I was only trying to help u know, I am happy she will change and stay

"IN... NOW he appeared at the living room entryway

She went into his bathroom and shivered and struggled out of her outfit and wrapped the robe snugly

Finding places to dry her outfit after squeezing the water out

It was a large plush bathroom, very functional yet sexy with burnished chrome tones

She stepped out tentatively

Taost was immediately by her side barking in approval

"CAN U STOP? he begged

"Do u want something to drink?

"Chai she nodded

"Oh yeah he tried not to smile

He had made it already, just wanted to hear her say it

He brought it out

She drank all of it quietly slurping almost and inhaling the steam

He watched her relax

Her back slumping on the couch

Toast inhaled it and tried to drink leftovers
