Just watched MOM on Netflix, What an amazing movie it was. Great performances by each and everyone in the movie. While Sridevi and Nawaz were praised for their performance, Why Sajal and Adnan Siddiqui were ignored by the critics and awards? How did Sajal not even win a single award for her amazing performance?

I think Sridevi was a bit over but I actually liked the chemistry between Adnan and Sridevi even though he's like at least 10 years younger than her. Father-daughter bond was amazing too.

Her histrionics were too much

She was yelling so loud. When a person gets that loud only dogs can hear them 😆 😆

Akshay and Nawaz was we're saving graces

Even I saw it on Netflix and liked the film. The car scene shot from above through a drone with that haunting background score gave me chills the first time I saw it. I really liked her chemistry with the Pakistani actor. I found them very convincing as husband and wife and I wish there were more scenes between them.
And I didn't find Sridevi's acting loud. Her character was supposed to have that kind of reactions and outbursts. To be honest, I can picture a lot of mothers acting that way after finding out something so horrific. In fact, literally all have them were convincing in their respective roles...one could really feel the anguish of the family.
