People were bashing the trailer the songs, Ranveer's look in the movie, his acting how he can't pull off a larger than life cop role as he is not on the same level as SK,AK,AD..etc.. No one talked about the possibility of Simmba being a sure-shot hit because it is a south remake, how brand Rohit his box office track record would save the movie...

On topic, as I said in some earlier thread the opening is because of brand Rohit and Ranveer. Almost everyone who watched the movie credited Ranveer. How he was the soul of the movie how he carried the movie on his own even people who hated the movie and masala movies in general praised Ranveer's performance.

Mark my words, if Gullyboy becomes a hit then people will credit Alia and Zoya for it.

or maybe the bus, in which Alia was traveling 😆

It is non significant in the whole movie. Family audience want their fun time and most people won't care to watch glimpse of these guys. Rohit Shetty is a able director who captures our emotions and if any other hero did it wrongly it wudnt have made the impact so Ranveer done his role too carrying movie on his shoulders since he is the main lead.

I don't think i saw such thread made during Sanju time. May i know y?
