Stree crosses Raazi's 122 Crores lifetime collec

Stree had an excellent fifth week which was the second best of the year after Padmaavat. The film collected 4.75 crore nett and stands at 123.50 crore nett. The film can still add 3-4 crore nett more but the screenings are down this week it could make it difficult. The collections of Stree till date are as follows.

First Week - 59,31,00,000

Week Two - 34,46,00,000

Week Three - 15,69,00,000

Week Four - 9,31,00,000

Week Five - 4,75,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 1,23,52,00,000 apprx

Kudos to both the film, if the margin is not huge, its not called beat, its both the films doing well simultaneously.

But budget of Stree is 20cr and Raazi is 40cr

It burns me when people give credit where it's not due. Shraddha had very little to do with Stree's success. At best she was ehhh okay in a movie filled with amazing actors who played their character so well. You might as well write Nora Fatehi beats Alia.

I think your point is valid to an extent, stree wouldn't have collected even half as much if it weren't for the amazing word of mouth, but shraddha is an actress with an insane about of followers both on social media and in mass areas. She brought a lot of eyeballs to the film and the fact that she returned after over an year in a fun film was responsible for the 6.5 CR opening. A no name actress and it might have had difficulty crossing 4 cr.
When a product looks good, the fact that it has a known actress functions like a cherry on top.

Would stree have been a superhit even if shraddha wasn't in it? yes! Would it have beaten raazi? I think not:)

Stree deserves blockbuster status not superhit

Its budget is 20cr and business 125cr
