Would be lovely she takes up such roles, but there are two problems, first no great scripts are written anyways.



Second, the ego of the these star driven artists, will not call these people actors, who think playing mother to someone old will somehow diminish there popularity. Because these people are not actors, they are stars.
Look at Tabu, that woman is an actor, she had no issue to play Katrina's mother.



I would love to see a great script exploring the complexity of mother-daughter relationship.
Someone like Vidya-Alia, Rekha-Bhumi, Madhuri-Parineeti or so-on. But this industry with its glamour lust will never produce such stories.



And I am not just talking about female stars, same about male stars.

What is wrong if SRK plays Ranveer's father or Ranveer plays elder brother to Ranbir. But ego clashes and so on always take upper seat.

Aishwarya is prettier than Alia. She is not any director- producer ki bet and student of a director LOL yet she made strong place by her talent and beauty.
