Chapter 11

As DD reached the Khanna guest house, Neil asked Avni to prepare tea for him and DD. DD hesitated initially , on seeing which Neil replied "chinta mat kar ,ab teri bhahi ko chai ke saath saath khana bhi ache se banana aata hai ". DD smiled and said "Ok Bhabhi toh ho jaye phir chai ke saath kuch namkeen bhi".

Avni left the place to go to the kitchen, while Neil asked about the updates in his case, DD replied "Sir humne jitne bhi eye witness the unke statement liye hai , use to yeh hi pata chalta hai , ki yeh sab planned tha. Aur haan CCTV ki image se bhi aapka andaza sahi nikla, ki aapko jisne bachaya tha woh koi ladki thi. Police station mein jo bhi log aaye unme se mujhe aisa koi nahi laga jispe shak kiya ja sake. Haa ek ladki aayi thi burkhe mein, usne apna naam sirf miss A bataya aur kafi details di, jaise woh is case ke baren mein Pehle se kuch janti thi. Phir woh pata nahi kahan gayab ho gayi".

Neil said " ho naa ho DD, yeh ladki is case se related bahut kuch janti hai , par koi hai jo ispe humla kar sakta hai, isliye shayad yeh apni identity chupana chahti ho. Anyways, DD dhundo use, humare case mein agla lead woh hi de payegi"

Avni was back with some chai, sweets and samosas to be laid on the table. DD asked "Bhabhi chai aur samosa toh samjh aagaya , par yeh sweets kis liye". Neil didn't want to discuss anything in front of Avni about his case, so he said "woh DD ab tu chacha banana wala hai naa, isliye".

DD happily replied "are wah sir congratulations aap dono ko. Iss baat pe toh party banti hai . Mithai se kaam nahi chalega. Ab mein aapko ek good news deta hoon, mera transfer request Mumbai ke liye accept ho gaya hai toh bas mein bhi next month aap logo ke saath aajunga. Sir aap jaldi se thik hojaye , phir hum saath mein party karenge".

Avni agreed to whatever DD said and she added "Woh sab toh thik hai DD, hum zaroor party karenge. Aur tum batao tum kab settle ho rahe ho. Neil bata raha tha mujhe ki tumhari mom bhi ladkiya dekh rahi hai , par tumhe kuch samjh nahi aa raha. " As DD affirmed in response , she continued " chinta mat karo, ab tum Mumbai aa jao phir mein tumahre liye ladki dekhun gi jaise tumhe chaiye bilkul waisi".

They ended their conversation on a happy note, while DD recorded Neil's statement, but as he recollected whatever happened on that night, his sixth sense was saying probably it was Avni only who saved him,, but how was it possible, she was shooting for her film. How would she have an idea, that I will meet with an accident or something was being planned against me.

After DD left, few drops of sweat on Avni face were forcing Neil to think if it was her. As she took a cookie bite still in her mouth, he came near and took a bite from other side to say "waise mein tumhe embarrass nahi karna chahta, par kya tum is case ke baren mein aisi baat hai jo mujhse share karno chahti ho". Avni denied his claim and left the place.

Soon as she gave sponge bath to Neil, he kept on silently looking into her eyes, to find if she was hiding something , while Avni was well aware if Neil came to knew the truth a good amount of scolding would be given by him to her and it was in best interest she hide the truth.

As the investigation proceeded , few more anonymous video tapes, were received at the police station giving enough proof to DD who was behind Neil's accident. The local corporator was arrested, but on the lack on evidence soon bailed out too. Neil knew that it was not just the local corporator but a bigger racket was involved. And the only person who could act as a whistle blower in this case was this Miss A.

Neil was angry while taking updates on phone from DD as they were unable to catch the real culprit. A forceful jerk made his stiches loosened and blood started coming out from his shoulder. Avni saw it and said "Neil apni shirt utaro jaldi". Neil didn't realize why she said so, when Avni herself unbuttoned his shirt and brought the first aid box. He stared at her continuously. She said "Neil mein tumpe bilkul ghussa nahi karna chahti par tum harkate hi aisi karte ho. Aur tum mujhe yeh ghurate kyun rehte ho?. Seeing her clueless face, Neil smiled and said "tum batao Avni mein tumhe aise ghurate kyun rehta ho, kyun mujhe aas hai tere aane se, kya mukam hai mila mujhe tujhe paane se, mere zindagi ke har sawal ka jawab mein sirf tum se hai , batao Avni aisa kyun hai, , bata paogi Avni".

Avni couldn't understand why he was talking in riddles today. And she replied "Yeh dressing ho gaya hai, ab tum aaram karo, mujhe bhi neend aa rahi hai".

Neil knew from her reply that there was something fishy, but still he was not sure if she was the one who saved him on that fateful night. Next morning he called his manager along with DD to say, "mujhe ek party organize karni hai masquerade party, yeh ek open invitation party hogi, jisme sab log invited honge. Hume agar us culprit ko pakadna hai toh am sure DD woh toh aayega hi aur nahi toh yeh Miss A jo bhi hai woh zaroor aayegi , kuch na kuch toh humare haath aayega hi, koi lead hume mil jaye bas". Neil asked Avni to stay at home as it involved risk and he didn't want any danger to lurk around his wifey at this time.

As planned all police officers were dressed as civilians and the Khanna industry staff members were also present, all presented their ID as they entered the party hall. As Miss A scanned her ID card , Neil said to DD " ab yeh jo bhi hai Miss A, yeh hi hume agli lead degi dekhna , shayad un real culprits ko pata hai ki yahan police hai toh woh log nahi aayenge, par mujhe jo chaiye tha, jisse milna tha woh aa chuki hai, lets start our plan"

The music started , and all people started to dance on the dance floor, while Neil constantly kept his eyes on the lady Miss A dressed in a off shoulder white and maroon gown. Who was she, and why she wanted to help me, all those questions forced Neil to ask her "May, I have a dance with you m'aam". As she nodded and they started to dance , she asked "kyun kar rahe ho mera picha?". Neil replied "police walo ka kaam hi hai picha karna". She retorted "Soch lo naa tum mujhe giratftar kar pooge aur naa mein tumse pyar". As Neil was sure now who was she without removing her mask he said in her ear "woh dono hoga , mein tumhe giraftaar bhi karunga aur tum mujhse pyar" .

Neil knew it was best to ask Avni what was she hiding from him and he wanted to ask her when they both were alone.

Chapter 13 Finale

As Avni completed 8 months of her pregnancy, with Neil taking special time to take care of wifey. He ensured whatever she needed was present on time. It was smooth run for the rest of the time.

The movie that Avni directed was released and was receiving rave reviews from audience. The film was selected in many film festivals across the globe, and receiving many awards the women who had to collect the awards was missing. Neil wanted her to be there at least for one award function to collect her own award to complete a dream she had seen since childhood of being the best director.

Neil knew Avni had a rare blood group and hence as her pregnancy due date reached nearer, he made contacts with the blood banks to keep the blood ready in case needed.

It was 10 days before her due date, her labour pain started. Neil had never seen his wife in so much pain ever before. He knew this was the maximum pain a human body can go through what Avni was feeling now. But it was not the time to loose his cool. He immediately took her to the hospital, where all the necessary care was taken.

A baby girl was born, and the somebody was weak as well as happy. After Avni gained consciousness, the first question she asked, "So Mr Neil Khanna kaisa lag raha hai aapko phir se papa ban ke ?". Neil sat beside her and said " Kaisa lagega Avni. Tum hi batao. Sach bolun it feels like mein pehli baar papa bana hoon. Kyunki last time wali feeling toh maine miss kar di thi naa. Par ab kuch bhi miss nahi hoga I Promise".

As they hugged each other Shweta viewed that from the glass of the hospital room and said to Prakash "Prakash ji aapko pata mein humesa sochti thi ki mere Neil se humesha uski khushiyan dun kyun bhaagti hai. Par dekhiye jab se Avni aayi hai uski zindagi mein vapas sab khushiyan khud uske pass aa rahi hai . Ab humari family complete ho gayi hai . Mowgli ko uski sister mil gayi hai. Neela ji ka sapna bhi pura ho gaya dekhiye". As Prakash affirmed in response.

DD arrived to congratulate his Neil sir and Bhabhi with some sweets. Avni added "Thank you DD, ab humari family toh complete ho gayi hai. ab tum bhi jaldi se shaadi kar lo. tum ache se jaante ho mein kis ki baat kar rahi hoon. Sunheri ki. woh bahut achi ladki hai aur Neil ne mujhe sab kuch bataya kya chal raha hai tum dono ke beech. ab usko official kar do. "

DD replied " woh sab toh thik hai Bhabhi , maa ki permission ke bad yeh sab bhi ho jayega. Ab yeh bataye ki jo nanhi pari aayi hai . Uska kya naam rakhna hai , woh dikhti toh Neil sir jaisi hai, badi badi aakhe hai. Aur uski smile aapke jaise hai. "

Avni replied "Haan DD woh hum dono pe gayi hai. Par uske aane se, kiski ka adhura sapna pura hua hai. Isliye uska naam bhi mein Neela maa ne jo kaha tha unka naam pe rakhna chahungi. Nysha jo meri dono maa ke naam se hoga Neela ma aur Ayesha maa"

After 3 days, Avni was discharged from the hospital with her baby. Soon Bebe too arrived from Canada, to see her complete family. Everything looked beautiful with the complete family .

It was already 40 days, when producer of the movie "Paani" called her, and said "Avni you have been nominated for the best director award for the Madrid international festival. Can you go now and take it". Avni replied "Sir mein aapko soch ke batata hoon" .

Neil could sense that his wifey is in dilemma, after he got to know the reason, he said "Avni, tum woh award khud lene jaogi, jahan tak bacho ki baat hai mom hai. Bebe hai . Woh dekh lenge , aur zaroorat padi toh Sunheri ko bula lenge. tum tension mat lo. Bas 3-4 din ki baat hai. Hum Madrid jaa rahe hai bas . Mein ticket book kar raha hoon".

As planned , the day arrived, they both took flight to arrive at Madrid. They both attended the film festival together, as the nominations for the best director were called Neil sensed a nervous Avni, when he said "Avni breathe in, breathe out" to calm her down. As name was announced "Mrs Avni Neil Khanna" she went on stage still breathing in and out, unprepared what to say. The script was not ready what to say if she received the award. But here she did and it was the right moment to thank the person who made her. She said "I want to thank my production unit, my family, my papa ji for this award and a special thanks to the one who made me believe in myself. I would not say that I love him today for he already knows that . I would say you complete me in every way. I am nothing without you. Whatever I am is because of my husband Mr Neil Khanna. Thank you for coming into my life"

As she left the stage a proud hubby asked her " Can we go on for a date today. You owe me something. Don't you" . Avni smiled as they hugged each other where she said "with this humari family aur mera adhura sapna pura hogaya Neil. aaj tumhari wajah se mera adhua naam pura hua hai. mera phir se Naamkaran ho gaya. jis pehchan ko mein pana chahti thi woh mujhe mil gayi, tumhari wajah se. Thank you . Thank you so much Neil"
