Why is the #1 actress Deepika still jobless?

She has a lot of time on her hands. She should hire an accent coach and learn to speak in a way which would make it easier for her to get roles. I think HW would love her looks but the accent is going to keep everyone away. They just wouldn't know where to fit her and what kind of roles she could possibly do when she sounds the way she does.

xXx was terrible but so was Quantico. Getting attention doesn't require quality. If she did the next sequel, it would bring her back to a few talk shows and get her party and event invites and one more chance to mingle with people from HW and make connections. If that's the only role in HW available to her, there's no real reason to turn it down.

I dont see PR articles from her camp about her being in talks with this one or that one like other desperate down n out actors do to beg movies indirectly or remain in circulation. Dear Troll, when u have nothing to defend your fav, u bring other actors in discussion to prove your idiocy.

Deepika didnt retire from films so people will talk/speculate her upcoming films in a film forum. Just few months back she spread fake news about her being in a super hero ala wonder women kinda project which fell flat, she also talked about getting many scripts but not interesting enough for whatever reasons... so how is it my fault if I said she's not getting any work or good work ... u and your ilk would have numerous topics by now if Anushka, Katrina or Aalia set at home twiddling thumbs.

I think her doing a HW movie was a decision she made with her heart instead of her head because those are the kind of movies that she likes watching. But now after meeting people from HW and learning about the auditioning process I hope whatever decisions she makes now she's smart about it and thinking about longevity. At Cannes she even brought up doing a regional Indian movie as an option.

That wasn't a fake story. A sexual harasser journalist who likes writing negative articles about people said it was fake.

Simply she had a movie to shoot these days with Irfan and that fizzled out.

Do you expect her to create a movie in a short period and shoot that in this period?

I found it hilarious when people call her jobless because of her empty schedule. Do you know, in bollywood dates/movies are planned at least before 10-12 months and if a movie got canceled, then you have nothing to do in that period.😕

Your overconfidence is simply off the charts really because what makes you think a shallow industry like BW will be so willing to wait for an ageing actress(who is already losing her looks rapidly) to take her own sweet time to 'make up' her mind about working when there are going to be spoiled for choice with so many young and beautiful upcoming actress waiting on the sidelines?
