She simply must be going through scripts at home. She was supposed to do a movie which was shelved last minute due to her costar's illness.

And isn't she supposed to be part of XXX next installment ?

The director of XXX said she didn't reject the movie when somebody asked him as there were rumours of her rejecting a HW project. But there's still no official announcement so I think she's still thinking about it.

Exactly. The first 6 years of her career she shot 17 movies. If you compared it to Ranbir or Sonam who debuted the exact same day you'd see she was working a lot more. And since most of those movies did nothing for her it's good she slowed down and now seems to be looking for quality over quantity.

Yes, and it's pretty obvious she feels secure with her position to be able to take a sabbatical. It's good to see DP, who was once really competitive, slow down a bit and enjoy the finer things in life. I love that she has finally found her peace of mind after her dark days. 😊

Okay thanks. I personally don't think she should do it as it doesn't seem to have done much for her but if she shares a good equation with the team why not?

I'd also prefer she didn't do it but I watch a lot of American TV shows and I know that diversity is a big problem so I can never hate a person of colour doing a role.

This bechari is asking for thrice the amount what she used to get 😆

She should try to aim for a Netflix miniseries or something. If cinema doesn't offer her good roles and that she really want to go the HW way then that's the better option. At least with miniseries, one knows where the show is heading.
TV series tend to become bland past the 1rst or even 3rd season.

I'd love to see her in a TV series. I prefer TV over movies because of the proper character arcs. But if she really is serious about HW then I think she needs to learn an American accent first. US TV shows hire people from all the world who learn the accent and getting a role will be easier for her because they primarily write stories about American characters. I actually wish BW would produce more English projects set in India like Monsoon Wedding.

She hasn’t done a movie in quite sometime. Is she retired? Why is she not getting offers? All her past films bombed. What do you think?
