Kareena kapoor bigger than John Abraham : BOI

Veere Di Wedding is looking to close in at 80 crore nett business as it has collected 78.50 crore till now though is running out of steam and will hardly collect anything post the the release of Sanju. The interesting question this film raises is that does a Kareena Kapoor have a bigger box office pull than a John Abraham who would be the 11th or 12th biggest male star in the country while Kareena Kapoor you can put at number four(arguably maybe even 3 after Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone) from females after Veere Di Wedding.

Both Veere Di Wedding and Parmanu have been made on a similar cost and the trailer of Parmanu actually looked better and it looked a better made film also. But Veere Di wedding had a far better initial and also a far better lifetime score than Parmanu and that is talking India only as Overseas the gaps are huge.

It can be said that the language and one HIT song made the difference but it can also be said you have some face to get the type of opening that Veere Di Wedding did as it would have difficult without a top heroine. It would be interesting to see where the female stars rank if we rank male and female stars together. The females may find it difficult to get into 1-10 (maybe outside chance of Alia Bhatt) but by the looks of it it will be the girls dominating the 11-15 rankings.
