Veere Di Wedding is so overrated on this forum. But did Kareena choose the right movie after a 2 year hiatus? Clearly not. Does she know how to read a damn script?

evn the film recovers its costs still it was swara whom the fans of VDW were praising

Swara benefitted from the movie

kareena has kjo ahead but they hav badtrack record except k3g

Performance-wise, Kareena Kapoor Khan is the belle of the ball as she makes her comeback with this film. Looking like the diva that she is, the actress gives yet another fantastic performance as the commitment-phobic Kalindi. It's a treat to watch the talented Kareena on big screen after a small hiatus.

Sonam K Ahuja tries her best to match up to the diva level but falls short and looks uncomfortable in some scenes. Swara Bhaskar as the brash, no-nonsense rich girl adds a quirkiness to the cast. And Shikha Talsania as the peacemaker of the group is adorable and hilarious. Sumeet Vyas is great with whatever punch lines he gets. While Vishwas Kinni is good, Edward Sonnenblick is decent. Ayesha Raza and Manoj Pahwa are a hoot. Neena Gupta and Ekavali Khanna are decent and so is Vivek Mushran.

Verdict: A sure-shot winner at the ticket counter. HIT!

Performance wise: Kareena Kapoor has been a surprise package. Shikha Talsaniawill keep you entertained all throughout, Sonam Kapoor has improved a lot but her over-the-top drama scenes are still the same. However, Swara Bhaskar has disappointed us a lot.

TO say that Kareena didn't get appreciated is just a joke at this point. All girls have been appreciated and Kareena has gotten her share of praise.

And I'm HAPPY that Swara and Shikha are also being appreciated. This is about empowering these talented girls, not pitting them against each other and pulling them down

LOL KAreena has been a part of several blockbusters...but no one has ever taken her seriously as an actress..sure she's popular sure she has been in the industry for so many years..but she hasn't done anything pathbreaking in her career...her sister's case was the same, she kept doing all those silly comedies with Govinda and salman for such a long time...until in her final years she realized her folly and opted for movies like Fiza, Shakti and Zubeidaa and proved her mettle as an actress...SALLU BHAI in an interview is still upset with karishma over picking up a film like Fiza even when she was at the peak of her career (her film before fiza - dulhan hum le jayenge) was a smash HIT but karisma didn't let the actress die in her...

the same can't be called with kareena n please for heaven's sake..giving credit to success of VDW to kareena is just outrageous there are a number of factors that has contributed to the huge buzz for the film but this is the norm in industry that whenever a film works no matter how success credit should be given to the most popular face...

and the same goes for sonam...LMAO ppl r actually celebrating this non-actress's performance...Just take out Neerja and i don't know where she stands..the only performer in this film that practically eats everyone is Swara Bhasker, and surprisingly she was the one who brought the most controversy for the film through her twitter handle but she wont' get the credit...and yea forgotten about those hindu activists who threatened to ban the film..they want credit too right 😆

I am talking about general public not critics who take selfies with kareena after doing interview and discuss about taimur and gossiping bitching with her about others which is the favourite hobby of kareena.

You are quoting them as if God has pronounced the verdict😆

It was swara who overshadowed all.
