I cant believe how and why VDW made money?

Its a trash movie! Highly boring, insipid, childish direction, poor screenplay, no story and horrible acting from everyone barring Shikha T.

This is no DCH and the way its being hailed on this forum, OMG😳 did I watch the same movie?

Clothes are the only pretty part, Kareena looks stunning, but she is simply blank and bored in the whole movie. Sonam is blaah..that voice😵 Swara was npt likeable..only Shikha to an extent made it bearable

so yes, this isnt a feather in the cap of Bebo...I dont think this movie will do anything for her..another terrible decision on her part

I dont think it was ever hailed as a dil chahta hai; their trailer was very honest to the film. It never portrayed the movie as some pathbreaking cinema; just a simple entertaining film.

I really enjoyed VDW. It was Fun! 😳 And I was happy to see Kareena in such a role. Infact I liked all the performances. Kareena did the right thing. Working in a movie like VDW is way better then working with the Khans. Audience is enjoying Plus the movie is doing well at BO. What do you want more?

When did she leave?? I am confused. She just took a short break for Taimur. Ki&Ka& Udta Punjab came in 2016 and Veere in 2018! It's not like she is back after five years! What is this comeback shit?! Do people have to have films every year??!!

Ok maybe I dint like it at all. I think the problem is Shashank's direction, not one scene was memorable or different/ neither are the dialogues fun or entertaining? Everything was superfluous and shallow. It was the same problem with Khoobsurat as well, he made Fawad look lost too..

I am happy for heroine oriented movies doing well, but this one was lost on me. I dint feel the bonding/ lovestory, and even the family problems. It never went skin deep.

and then maybe I saw three brilliant movies - Infinity War, Raazi and Parmaanu and then this..it just fell flat.

Edit - Ki&Ka and Udta Punjab were great projects. Bebo was on fire in Ki&Ka specially, that was truly different and entertaining and had a message too..compare that to VDW, its gross under utilization of the talent she possesses.

Thought I was the only one. I have been confused with this comeback comments too. When did she take a break and what come back?? She has always been here. If we are taking months or year break, then DP who took a long break too and others like Aamir, etc count too who take such breaks? Or, may be it's pointed specifically towards to Kareena as she's a woman and married, so if she doesn't do movie fast that means she must have had a break and when her movie is released, it is come back? 😕
