That was the perfect ending..some stories are meant to give that unsettling experience by showing the incompleteness side of life and for that reason the story ends here for me.

everyone has their own psyche and morals built in their minds and so does Geet, where she allowed herself to follow her heart, but then her conscience will never let her be at peace.

whereas Maan does not feel himself as guilty as hers although they both are in the same situation. He wanted her then, he wanted to move on with her once she is freed from her marriage, but after seeing her hurt, now he only wants her to be at peace even if that means living away from her. He values and weighs the emotions and morals differently. In his case, his love for her supersedes his guilt, conscience or morals.

May be she is punishing Maan along with herself with this decision, but for her this is less hurtful compared to the unhappy life they would lead had she decided to be with him with her own guilty mind.

and then Dev, he not only had to bare the betrayal from his loved ones, but if he had loved Geet, then it was a tough decision that he had to take of freeing her from the relation.

In a way with this decision, they all are trying to be true to themselves and also care for their love, which takes priority over the separation, distances in the given situation.

loved the story for the way the complexities of life and relations were handled, and also the presence of the sea and its tidal waves as a metaphor for her/his emotions in every part..and the beauty of it in the last part when she whispered Maan's name freely and let it settle along with the calmness of the sea.

the tidal wave came in and disrupted or better to say oriented their lives towards different directions.

Had to read this story again

This was one Mind Blowing story

though difficult to pin point the wrong and right as the situation was such

but yeah I felt Geet did right this was something that would have made peace with all three

of them

So I was thinking about this story.

I won't comment about the right or wrong of either of them...

Because I bet if Maan and Dev's positions were switched, people would have reacted differently.😆

My cynicism aside, I love the story because you took something as touchy as this a topic and presented it so beautifully that I felt for Geet. More Geet than Maan tbh.

Although Dev's perspective wasn't shown, I felt for him too.

It would have been heartbreaking. No?

I wish they all find happiness in their respective lives, going forward. Especially Geet. (I'm always team Geet, lol)

I missed you in this forum and having you around Foz. Write more such amazing stories.
