I hav luvd all d mythos dt hav aired on doordarshan chnnl... lik om namah shivay jap tap vrat jai hanuman dn d mytho shw whr hema malini had playd d lead chrctr of adi shakti... basically all dose were quiet gd nd nt much masala was added... sumhw modern mythos dont appeal me.. yet i gv a try fr shani since it was a diff concept nd d cast being amazing i strtd luving d shw... among modern mythos its just mahadev nd shani none othr shws...

Right Harshu.I used to watch Om Namah Shivaay,Sagar arts production Sree Krishna & Ramayana.I liked NDTvV imagine's Mahima Shanidev ki too.All these were nice show.

My first mythological series was Sir B.R Chopra's Mahabharat!
Then Ramanand Sagar's The Ramayana and Sri Krishna and Luv Kush.

then again the b.r chopra creation, vishnu puran
then Jay Hanuman and om namah shivay
then they only arabian mythology alif laila
next comes to mahima shani dev ki
after that Devon ki dev... mahadev

and now shows like siya ki raam, suryaputra karn, sankat mochan mahabali hanuman, shani and mahakaali.

My Favorites:
1. Devon ki Dev... Mahadedv
2. Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana
3. B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat
4. Karmfaldata Shani
5. Suryaputra karn
6. Mahakaali

The first three are from classic age and the last three are from modern age. The classic shows had a good and unspoiled core stories which i did not find in todays' shows. almost all modern mythologies have significant story manipulation which at times become misleading!
Again the modern shows are doing good in terms of technical sides like special effects and grandeur of the sets.

All the initial shows during my childhood days...B.R. chopra's Mahabharata , Ramananda Sagar's Ramayana , Om namah Shivay , Alif Laila...But mostly , Greek mythology is my favourite...

Shani is the only show which I liked recently

5. Mahakali
6 Siya Ki Ram
7. Mata Ki Chowki
8.Jai jag janani maa durga 9. Mere Sai
