Prologue Gauri stared him with her eyes filled with tears as he filled her mang with his blood and announced her as his wife before the villagers..she blinked her eyes twice to make sure she wasn't hallucinating...
Just a few moments back she was running with her life to save herself from the men of Kali Thakur who wanted to kill her and quench their master's thirst with her blood...just a few moments back she was being accused as a characterless woman and a gold digger by the villagers..the very same villagers who have seen her growing up before their eyes..who have seen her struggling everyday to feed herself and her ailing mother..just a few moments back she was sending prayers to her Shankar Ji to save her life..she didn't want to die..and she believed her Shankar Ji will surely protect her..
As if listening to her prayers Shankar Ji sent him to save her..he didn't just save her life..he married her and declared her as his wife..he is now her husband..he's the man whom her Shankar Ji has chosen for her...
"Gaon wale chale gaye hain..aab tum ja sakti ho..", he said stopping her in her tracks...

"Oh please..yeh jo sati savitri hone ka dhong tum kar rahi ho naa..matt karo..tum jaisi ladki ko main achhe se janta hoon..pehle toh Kali Thakur ko aapne jal mein phasaya..aur aab jab dekh rahi ho ke usse bhi amir ladka mil gaya tab uski biwi banne ki koshish kar rahi ho..", he spilled vemon feeling disgusted by her...
"Yeh sab kya bol rahe hain aap..??", Gauri asked as tears made their way down to her cheeks...
"Aab ro kyun ho..?? Tumhari asli roop samne agaya iss baat se dukh ho raha hain..??", he taunted her..
"Aap humare bare mein kuch nehi jante..iss liye behtar hoga ke aap kuch naa hi bole..", she said trying to control her emotions..
"Tum jaisi ladki ko main achhe se janta hoon..paiso ke liye tum kuch bhi kar sakti ho..kissi ka khoon bhi.."
"Aap humare bare mein jante hi kya hain jo aisi baatein kar rahe hain..??, she asked hurt..
"Jitna main janta hoon utna kaafi hain tumse zindagi bhar nafrat karte ke liye..tum jaisi giri hui, ghatiya aur ghinauni aurat ko main isse behtar jan naa bhi nehi chahta.."
That was it..Gauri Kumari Sharma might be a woman who always believed in the concept of marriage..but she can never let anyone butcher her self respect and call her by names..be it her own husband..it is his fault that he doesn't know the truth..then why would she bear the consequences of his unawareness..?? His words made her heart bleed..but she decided to not give him a chance to dominate her..if he doesn't acknowledge their marriage she'll not force him..she'll do as he has asked her to..she'll leave him..but not before showing him his place..he might be her savior..but he has no right to call her a characterless woman..making her mind to not fall weak before him she said, "Agar aap iss shaadi ko nehi mante toh naa sahi..lekin agli bar humare bare mein aise anap shanap bak liye toh ek jhaap mein deewar pe sata denge..iss bar toh aapko hum jane de rahe hain...kyunki aapne humari jaan aur izzat dono bachaye hain...lekin phir kabhi Gauri kumari Sarma se panga matt lena...", she said glaring him..
Omkara didn't expect her answering back to him..how dare she threaten him..?? He was going to open his mouth to say something when Gauri stopped him...
"Aur kuch bolne ki zaroorat nehi hain..bass itna jaan lijiye ki bina kisi ke poori baat sune kabhi unke bare mein kuch bhi matt soch lena..humesha jo dikhta hain woh hota nehi..", she said turning her back to him..
