Finally they're going to face each other all over again.. 😲Chapter 6Finding the certain Oberoi Mansion in a huge city like Mumbai wasn't a tough task at all..and standing before the huge house which was pointedly named as a mansion, Gauri could easily comprehend why it took her less effort to find this place..it was nothing less than a palace with those numerous guards continuously eyeing the surrounding of the place..and anyone living in this city for quite a long time should know the way to this place..
Inhaling a deep breathe she realised even the air enclosing the city is more relaxing..maybe the thought of starting a life as an individual and independent person is making her feel more certain and secure..she always wanted a life like this..uncommitted and unfettered..she always wanted to be in a place where nobody would remind her she's ought to do this and that...or she's a person who's intended to serve people unconditionally..
If someone ask her to be honest, she would say without any kind of hesitancy that she was tired of her life as a compliant..never in her whole life she got the chance to think of herself..all she did was handling a whole household with her own endeavor and working as a machine to earn money which were meant to go to her leech Chacha Chachi's hand..doing all these for years she had forgotten to live her life..but now she wants to live for herself..she has no one to call her own except her mother..and hereon, she'll live only for herself while taking care of her mother..
She was the mighty chiraiyya who always helped one or other..but what did she get in return being all generous and selfless..absolutely nothing..so from onwards she'll not melt and fall weak before anyone..if it means to be selfish then she's willing to carry that tag..
Asking to her Shankar Ji for his blessing and support Gauri entered the Oberoi Mansion where she hoped all of her dreams will be fulfilled..

Gauri thought her boss, Svetlana Kapoor to be some old lady as the offer she got clearly stated that the woman named Svetlana Kapoor needs a caretaker..but whom she was meeting was middle aged woman who tried her best to hide her age behind the several layer of make up..but unfortunately failed miserably...Gauri couldn't but laugh in her mind seeing the woman standing before her..drapping a parakeet coloured dupatta with white pant and crop top, she looked no less than a clown..and her 5 inches heels only made her look like the palm tree..but what made Gauri a little bit scared was her yellow eye liner..she could only think about those snake womans, more specifically a naagin who suck out the blood from human's body..and
"Botox Kumari" was the name that crossed her mind seeing her not so evergreen boss..suppressing her laughter in her mind she folded her hands before Svetlana to greet her with a namaste..
Svetlana rolled her eyes seeing Gauri..she thought the girl she is going to appoint as her caretaker would be some smart skinny girl in formal clothes..little did she expect her caretaker to be a well cultured one in three piece traditional dress..but didn't she know that whom she's giving the job was an inexperienced one..?! Of course she knew that very well..and she has no problem with her as long as she do her appointed works properly..
"Toh tum ho Gauri Sharma..??", she asked Gauri remarking her from head to toe once again..
Gauri nodded in a affirmative and Svetlana continued, "Aaj se mere saare kam tum khud karogi..mere kam matlab sirf mere kam..tumhe iss ghar mein main leke aayi hoon..woh bhi sirf aapne liye..so you don't have to be close with the other people living in this house..not even the servants..aur jab tak iss ghar mein rahogi sirf mere hi orders follow karogi..am I clear..??"
All this while listening to Svetlana Gauri felt as if some old hag was threatening to hang her alive if she dare to disobey her..she wasn't really happy with Svetlana being her boss..she thought she would get someone in this new place to help her out to learn things quickly..but having a cursed fate she got Svetlana as her boss..moreover she's not even allowed to seek anyone's help..she abruptly has understood that it would not be easy for her to work for Svetlana..but when was life generous to her..!! Never she guess..so she decided to follow her orders silently as she didn't want to mess up things by replying her boss at the very first day of work..
"Hum samajh gaye..lekin abhi humein kya karna hain..?", Gauri asked Svetlana without stretching the conversation which wasn't really pleasant for her..
Svetlana was pretty impressed with the way Gauri decided to abide by her rules without even asking a question..so she just asked Gauri to go to her room and take some rest before start working for her..but seeing Omkara coming downstairs Svetlana thought to introduce him to her new caretaker..and thus, she stopped Gauri from retiring to her room...
"Omkara..", Svetlana called for him and Gauri felt shudders all over her body hearing the name..
The name of him itself is enough to send chills through down her spine..and she was praying to her Shankar Ji to not see him before her eyes..she was sure to go weak on her knees seeing him again..gathering much courage she just turned and got the biggest shock of her life..
He was standing before her..she was seeing him again..she was facing him again..but before she could even react she found Svetlana standing beside him..and wrapping her hands around his arms Svetlana said with a creepy smile, "Yeh hain Omkara..mere hone wale pati.."
As soon as those words left her mouth Gauri stood there stagnated..
A cliffhanger.. 😛
