We are hardly a week away from the release of the Akshay Kumar starrer Pad Man. The actor obviously can't stop smiling with the positive responses his film has been receiving. Despite a delay in its release, Akshay Kumar is more than happy to promote the film. Here's a new way that the actor found to promote his forthcoming film.
Pad Man, as we know, is unconventional and aims to defy the taboos attached with periods. In a bid to do the same, Akshay Kumar has started what he likes to call the Pad Man Challenge'. The actor has taken to social media to ask his industry friends to take up the challenge. The challenge involves posing with a sanitary pad and sharing the picture on social media. Akshay Kumar extended the Pad Man Challenge to Deepika Padukone, Virat Kohli and Alia Bhatt recently.His wife Twinkle Khanna extended the Pad Man Challenge to Shabhana Azmi and Aamir Khan.
Similarly Akshay Kumar too posted a similar picture of him. He also captioned it as, "Thank you for tagging me @murugaofficial Yes, that's a Pad in my hand & there's nothing to be ashamed about. It's natural! Period. #PadManChallenge Copy, Paste this & Challenge your friends to take a photo with a Pad! Here I am Challenging @deepikapadukone @imVkohli @aliaa08. According to his post, Akshay Kumar was challenged by none other than the original Pad-Man himself, Arunachalam Muruganatham.
