The film is also about celebrating Padman for rising above the stigma and being brave enough to see this through.

It should be distributed to the girls of rural areas. They can't even access to sanitary napkins, it's sad.

I think this is a great initiative because many people are still under the impression, even in big cities, that periods are supposed to be hush hush and that pads are something to be hidden. I am SO glad that so many male stars are completing this challenge. It can really influence many minds to accept that the taboo was meaningless.
