Pk khwaja was a sufi song, so Akbar's dance did not feel weird. But yeah asoka basically was a B grade erotic movie with cringey acting. Honestly bhansali has the habit of making his lead actors dance, surprised that shahid didn't get to 😆

I haven't seen the movie but that one scene where RS is clapping like a child (which was in the promo) looked pretty weird to me 😆 Maybe cause I don't know the context, but why was Khilji so over excited?

In those days dancing and singing was considered a low level and especially the royalty would not themselves indulge in such activities. So there is no question about it that a King or a Queen would dance among their own people.

If I correctly remember when Ashoka was dancing when he was in exiled and a commoner. I dont think they showed him dancing when he become the emperor. Even though they destroyed Ashoka's history, likewise with Akhbar.
